Aleja froze in his seat. His mouth gaped open and his eyes welled up in tears. The loud thumping of his heart deafened him. It felt suffocating but the thought that this little girl might be fooling him is his last hope.

Aleja gathered all his strength to speak.

"Who on earth are you? Stop pranking me, this isn't funny, kid—"

[ He told me to call you if something happens to him. I'm your little sister and I saw how our father died.]

He's not dumb. As they say, children don't know how to lie.

His fingers massaged his forehead as he spoke, "Call an ambulance." Aleja took a U-turn and quickly drove his car back to their mansion.

He couldn't believe it and was trying not to believe what the kid said. Even so, he almost ran back to the room where he had left his father.

He can't lose someone in his lifetime, not again. His dad is the only family Aleja had and if he ever loses him, he will never forgive himself.
