How dare he? "That's correct," he admitted cheekily. Anger rushed through my veins as I started to fume, "You're such a—" "Considerate and cautious person who didn't want to risk firing at you?" "No, just an annoying bastard!" I exclaimed. He chuckled again and said, "Ms. Fleur, you keep forgetting I'm your boss." "But you can't kick me out of the company. You said yourself that I can't leave the city, which means I'm staying in the company," I reasoned.

Well, it may not be what she thought, but they are still keeping this male-god. PA Wilson couldn't help but smile to himself. Boss was always the first to issue swift decisions. This was the first time that he's seen Boss come up with a lame excuse. It is good that he thought of the franchised shops they had in the mall and came up with a better excuse. It was only this Miss Lucia that didn't catch on to it. He could tell by the look on Jeal's face that she suspected that something was going on.

He’d left the Big Boss’ office a while ago… and when he informed him about the meeting, the man had said absolutely nothing in contrast. So, why was he telling him to cancel it now? The Bossman finally spoke after a few minutes. “I am done. It was a pleasure to have breakfast with you two. Now I have got important matters which need my attention.” He was about to leave, but I stopped him. “When are you going to let us go?” I asked him softly. To others, it will appear that I am desperate to leave from here.

Their boss did seem shady as hell if they were to judge though. Because why would you buy a station, apply a management team and never even come around at all, not even once to check.

The next afternoon, all schedules planned were postponed. Harry was shocked by this sudden revelation, that it took some while to settle down the deals and purchases meant for that day. About three official calls, about twenty or so dealing calls, and finally in between, to add spices, his fiancé would call to make sure he had had his breakfast or had drunk eight glasses of water. "Its just to make sure that big boss isn't making you dehydrated or anything" He laughed, keeping his head tilted so it held the phone while another limb arranged the sheaf of papers scattered in the main bedroom of his boss.
