The green eyes they shared were Alastor’s. I assumed they were probably his siblings. The boy came forward; first, an enthusiastic smile was etched across his face. The girl stood behind him with a laptop pressed up to her chest.

I retorted. "It's a werewolf thing. Like...one's other half. Danny, you're my puzzle piece. I was made for you. My existence is for you. Whether it be a best friend, a brother, a lover, or a childhood dog." He met my eyes. I gasped softly. So that's why Alastor was obsessed with me. I always thought that Alastor was my huge wolf and I wasn't far off. Just in a different sense. He wasn't meant to be just Alastor. Just the wolf from the zoo. He's intended to be my everything. Everything started to fall into place.

Alastor barked, “I would never want anything to happen to you, Melonie. You don't know how long I have waited to meet you or how hard it was for me without you.” “What rubbish is he spewing now,” I thought. Alastor walked towards me, and in a swift movement, his hands were on my face, “My Melonie,” he called softly and sweetly, “Finally. I get to hold you.” “What are you talking about now?” I asked, pushing him away to avoid his weird acts. He dragged me closer to himself, and this time it was firmer and clearer, “You are mine.” He whispered in my ears.
