When the test was over, Alexis seemed worried. “It’s strange.” He announced. “Alexis, why do you always seem upset after the test? What’s wrong this time?” Lendon asked and took the apparatus off. Alexis stared at Lendon seriously and said, “Mr. Martin, after last full moon night, I am sure Miss Miller can help control your poison, but….”

But his shock gave way to a wan of smile which was more sinister and dangerous than the shock. He spread his hands and his long black villainous jacket began to form a crevice and rip apart. His body cracked and sinews moved. His fingernails narrowed into saber claws. They were large, hairy, and dangerously clawed hands of a beast. He bent like an animal and headed into the woods. ‘A werewolf?’ Jesse asked, wide-mouthed. ‘ But it is almost dawn?’ ‘ Don’t be so dumb’ Jake snarled ‘ he is a demon. Alvaro is very lucky that he did not, as he normally did on several occasions, come here alone. Take care of Alvaro while I take care of him!’

That same unease. But I ignored it and nodded. “We’ve done enough tonight,” I said. “Let's leave.” We left the forest and got to the vehicles. Entering it we drove into the night. But as the forest swallowed us whole, I couldn’t stop thinking about the wolves in those tubes. Their empty eyes. Their silent screams. And the monster who made them. Alastor. Soon… I would make him scream too.

Zayn roared as he lunged, but the other twin, Jessica, blurred into motion, her nails elongating into black talons that whistled through the air, forcing Zayn back. "Stay focused, Alpha," Dracula mocked, his crimson eyes locked on mine. "You worry for her? You are too late. This room is full of thieves who have tasted what belongs to me." He tilted my head back, exposing my neck to the flickering candlelight. I saw Hailey watching us from the doorway, a sick, playful smile on her lips as she smoothed her blue dress. That bitch wasn't horrified by the blood instead she was turned on by the chaos.

He didn't get enough time to digest what was happening when a bright light, sparkling like diamonds hit him square in the face. Mia opened her eyes and they were glowing a bright blue. Alex watched in both awe and terror as she moved towards him. The demon was going through the same shock as it paused and stared weakly at Mia whose hair was now pure white and her forehead bore a glowing symbol of a half moon. Alex was still in a trance as she placed her hand on his forehead. She stared deeply into his eyes before kissing his big wolf head. Alex felt power surge through him with a great force as light entered him from her palm.

He leaned forward mindlessly and then snapping out of it he grabbed her shoulder. “We need to go, now!” He shouted, scaring her out of her imagination. “R-Right! Let’s go!” “Right…” Alastair dropped a magic scroll on the ground and it warped into a black hole immediately. Alexis stared down the familiar thing, knowing the headache that was to come. She grabbed Alastair’s hand, he held it tightly as they jumped into the darkness. Somewhere along Alexis’ screaming she had clung on to Alastair for her dear life. Alastair stood calmly amidst the fall, enjoying the reaction more than he would ever admit.
