Her amusement faded, replaced by a serious expression. Something was happening. I didn’t know what it was, but I could feel it. Kieran stood stiffly, he had a poker face on, but the air between him and Raya had changed and I could sense it—they were having a conversation. A mindlink. Every pack had a unique ability, something that made them stand out from other packs, for the Blue Moon pack it was the ability to sniff out emotions from other wolves, for the Nightbane Pack it was mind-link. They could communicate with each other telepathically regardless of distance.

Amelia’s POV “I, Alpha Kade of the Bloodmoon Pack, reject you, Amelia White, as my mate, and Luna of the Bloodmoon Pack!” My knees gave way as I fell to the ground; pain as hot as lava ran through my body, leaving me breathless for a few seconds. “I can’t accept a weak, lowly Omega as my mate!” His voice roared as my body shook in pain. I looked up slowly at Alpha Kade’s eyes; his eyes, as green as the forest, held no emotion in them; it made me feel worthless.

He proclaims. Tears fall from her eyes and she slowly dies. “That's where you're wrong.” Athena says and her eyes glow an icy blue shade, taking him by surprise “I, Luna Athena, Luna Queen of Crescent moon, make this prophecy. The Crescent moon will be ruled again by the bond of a human and a wolf. And humans and wolves will live in harmony side by side….” She stares directly into the eyes of her abductor “....and you will die by the hand of those you call weak and pathetic. You will die by the hands of a human.” And she gives up the ghost.

A few moments later, I was standing on all fours, my white fur shimmering under the moonlight. I took a deep breath and lifted my head proudly. My friends and family turned around and gasped. “She is white.” Luna Gloria said. I looked at her and cocked my wolf head. Is that something special? ‘We are a pure white wolf, Emma. Nobody is a pure white wolf.’ Eliza said. ‘What do you mean?’ I asked her. ‘There are white wolves. I have seen them before.’

He was the only person in Khron that could look the Alpha eye to eye. He brought his special lantern with him since his eyes were not as sharp as the other werelions during the night. When he got closer, something happened that baffled everyone. Her hair color became blonde and her green eyes turned amber. "Her hair and eye color changes?" A baffled Alpha Leander asked and Alecto smirked. "My lantern radiates white light just like the sun. Her hair and eye color will change under white light. Her hair and eye color during the day will be different from when the sun sets."

Red whines in agreement and we turn to head back but the fast running of a possibly white maybe grey, blurred wolf, barrelling towards us in the distance- Red and I both speak at the same time.

The envoy from the Sunlit pack arrived a week later, the envoy consisted of seven men and five women with the Alpha included. The Alpha George was a tall huge chunk of a man with bluish black hair that brought attentions to his fiery eyes. He had an intimidating aura surrounding him that screamed for submission. The Alpha Lucien, his son Damien and a few emissaries were present to welcome them. Though of smaller built than George, Lucien was no less intimidating with his pale white skin, cold blue eyes and well-proportioned muscles.
