It was obviously drizzling outside, i could tell by the sizzling sound of the rain outside, not that it was very loud though.
Arlo stepped in.
He wasn’t the Arlo i knew, no. His eyes were darker, i could tell even though the room was almost completely overshadowed by the darkness. And his movements were too calm, too deliberate.
He wore no shirt, only a long dark sash tied around his waist. His skin had been slashed with ash and he wore a necklace made with a tangled vine.
He didn’t look at me at first. Instead, he walked stealthily around the bed, his fingers cautiously tracing slowly around the symbols on the floor.
