I didn’t want to chance my shirt coming up and exposing the horrendous marks left behind by Ace. Alaric strolled over toward me. I couldn’t help but stare in awe at him. He had on his now common skinny black jeans with hiking boots. He wore a tan, button up shirt with a weird quilt pattern with large, dull-yellow flowers. Only he could pull that off. It was unbuttoned halfway down his chest, and a white hair scarf was tired loosely around his neck and left to hang upon his bare chest. He had black sunglasses covering his eyes that I always enjoyed seeing.

I spun to the direction where I perceived the scent the most, but I didn't see who I expected. Instead, Alpha Shawn was standing by the waterside, emitting the same scent Henry would if he were the one. My stomach churned further, and this time, I practically held myself back from jumping on him. My wolf, Millicent, giggled in excitement and ran all over me. Alpha Shawn was shirtless, I freaked out when I noticed that. I was freezing, but there he was, completely shirtless.

The matching black training pants were slightly loose around my legs, allowing me to move freely, and the lightweight black boots reached just above my ankles. I had never owned anything like it before. It made me feel like I was preparing for something important.

Then he frowned and gestured towards a nearby guard who instantly began to organize clothing for everyone still standing naked. I looked down. My clothes had magically reappeared. Like magic. We're a white wolf, what did you expect? Lilith's voice was filled with amusement.

He looked as if he just walked out the shower of stress. “I hope Capricorn’s operation went well.” Willow spoke. Willow’s indefinite open-eyes went and followed Albert to a park-style outdoor coffee shop near the silent sanctuary. When he was sure Albert’s situated at the shop, he changed his regular polo shirt to a beige long-sleeved one; the color most people ignore. The sun was high so he also brought his shades. He sat at the furthest of the seats and waited for Albert to order before he did. Coffee again? Eat some protein, Albert.
