His breath faltered— Then he gasped. His fingers curled against the tablecloth, searching for something solid as the room tilted. The chandelier lights blurred, the edges of the room dimming like a vignette. He tried to call out, but the sound died in his throat. The mighty figure of Hughes—unshakeable, unmoveable—slumped sideways, fingers scraping wood once before his strength gave out. And the mansion fell silent.

He swings over. He wraps his legs around me. We are two spiders in a web. He enters me in mid-air. "Oh god," I gasp, looking down at the fish swimming below my feet. It is disorienting. Vertigo and ecstasy. We swing together, pushing off the air, grinding against each other in zero-gravity. "We're flying," Alex whispers. We climax as the sun starts to dip, painting the water in gold. We hang there, tangled and spent, while the tide comes in.

Alex’s body vanished into the darkness of the night. “Prepare the search party now.” Hunter roared at the top of his lungs when he couldn’t see Alex anymore. Cody was still in shock, sitting on the ground on his knees, looking down the cliff in shock. Both Hazel and Alex were now down there. “Aaaaahhhhh.” Alexander yelped in pain when, finally, his body hit the ground down there after being rolled from one tree to another, one thick bush to another, for good few minutes. He wasn’t hurt badly. Yet the fall was deep enough to make him feel dizzy and disoriented for a few minutes.
