A disembodied hiss escaped him as the circle that’d formed around them during the spill widened, and for a moment all was still as all eyes fixed on them. Camille was torn between the inconsiderate urge to fume over her spilt coffee, or to rest a hand on him to see if he needed medical attention, and though his hair had received the brunt of it she caught a glimpse of bright hazel eyes, almost predator-like, before his eyelids squeezed shut.
