JAX I wake up in a cold sweat, panting as my eyes adjust to the darkness of my room. All the talk lately about the shadow pack and strategizing how to align our defenses with Denver has been seeping into my nightmares, robbing me of sleep. I’m lucky in that I don’t have any personal experience with the shadow pack thus far, but in my nightmares Alpha Xavier is this larger-than-life villain, his followers these soulless, twisted monsters who kill without remorse. Then again, from what I’ve heard about the shadow pack, the version of them in my dreams may not be too far off.

The crown prince had the power to go wherever he wished. “Are those werewolves,” I questioned Valerian, gawking at some wolves whose furs had stripes of white and red. The big one sat on the grass, and the smaller ones were playing with her tail. His face turned serious for a moment but went relaxed when he looked out to see them. “No, Those are actual wolves. Nothing special to worry about,” he chuckled, pulling his head back into the carriage. “How can you tell the difference?” I asked again, trying to hide my confusion.

You and your fucking attention can rot in hell, as for your Lycan…” “I did not send Alaric to you, Valerie.” He said, and I scoffed.

“see, I can be nice.” Tiffany pulls up with Alex; he never knew her dad was Lucifer.”Hey dad,” “Hey honey, who's your friend?” “Dad, this is Alex,” she smiles as Lucifer takes off his shades and shakes his hand. “So Alex, what's your business?” “I design Jewelry and create online software applications.” Lucifer sees the dragon tattoo; Alex has never felt this nervous before Joshua comes out in a black vest and shades. “Alex, right?” Alex nods his head. “So, where are you going?”

Again I nod, “I do.” Dad breaks out with a huge smile as he releases my hand and turns back to face the crowd. I feel the surge of power move through me, as I say the final vow, linking me completely to the pack as Alpha. “Ladies and gentlemen, I am proud to announce your new Alpha and Luna of Charwood, Alpha Zander Blackwood and Luna Ashleigh Blackwood.” If I thought the cheers before were loud I was wrong, the room exploded with cheers and congratulatory happiness.

Axel met his gaze head on, his eyes burning with a determination I've never seen him emanate before. "She's leaving with me," Axel said stepping forward until he and Hunter were looking eye to eye. Though they stood approximately with the same whooping 6'4 height, you could tell who has the most power emanating from him through his aura. Amy fanned her face with her hand, shaking her head at the two men fighting silently in a stupid staring bottle. "Forget them, you're coming with me. Maddox greets them all, “Welcome to the Black night pack, who is your Alpha?” Daryl climbs off his bike, revealing me “I am Alpha Daryl from the Crescents pack, I believe you know my mate” he spoke powerfully and possessively whilst Maddox and Hayden stare at me

I joke to him as Theo and Kayla run off to the sandbox. The adults go sit on one of the benches and Shaunice tells me to check my texts. I see that she’s sent me a few pictures of Axle, Theo and me on the walk here. “Aw, these are so cute! Would you be opposed to me making this my cover picture?” I ask Axle. “No, of course not. Why would I be? Actually, can you send me those?” I nod and then click on his contact and he goes, “Am I still Axle Like-the-car-part in your phone?”
