“If you’re hiding something, it only makes me more interested.” Axel swatted his hand away and crossed his arms, staring at him flatly. “And if I told you to mind your own damn business?” Levi exhaled through his mouth, amusement lingering in his eyes. “You’d just make me more curious.” Axel ignored him, grabbing his pair of tongs and turning away. He had no intention of entertaining Levi. But Levi was nothing if not persistent. “Tell me something, Axel,” Levi mused, leaning against the counter. “Why do you act so cold towards me? I don’t bite.” His voice dropped slightly, a mischievous smirk curling in the corner of his mouth. “Unless you want me to.”

Questions swirled in my head, but one thought overpowered them all: Who is Alex?

LEVI Levi slammed the door to his room in anger as he made his way over to the mini-bar. He needed something to drink to calm his nerves after what had just happened. He couldn't actually believe that Alexa had spoken to him rudely and to make matters worse, she acted as if what she did was okay and she totally didn't care if he was the alpha of the pack or not. He picked a bottle of alcohol from the rack and poured himself a half filled glass before he took a long sip, feeling the liquid burn down his throat.

Her defense of Alexa introduced a note of caution, a plea to consider alternative perspectives before passing judgment. Levi, however, remained resolute in his stance. "There's no whole story; she's a two-faced spy... her name isn't even Alexa," he asserted, his anger intensifying with each uttered word. The layers of betrayal, fueled by the revelation of a false identity, seemed to deepen Levi's sense of betrayal.

She immediately kneeled on the ground with a thump and started slapping herself. Slap! Slap! Slap! Slap! The sound of Carol slapping herself was crisp and clear. Levi’s eyes flashed. He could tell that Alex was not an ordinary person. However, as a senior disciple in the Witch Doctor Sect, Levi was very proud. He didn’t think anything of Alex at all. Since Alex dared to impersonate an Immortal Doctor and question Levi’s authority, that meant Alex had a death wish. Levi looked coldly at Alex. “How can you prove that you acquired an Immortal Doctor’s legacy?” he asked.

After a few sips I looked at Alex “ he’s my brother”

“Then tell me.” He sighed. “Alexandro is a powerful Alpha, no doubt. He commands loyalty and strength. But that strength has come at a cost. He’s ruled through dominance, fear, and an unwavering pride. He’s stubborn to the point of recklessness. Wars have been fought because he refused to negotiate. People have died because he didn’t want to appear weak.” Serena’s throat tightened. “You think I don’t know he’s stubborn? He doesn’t always share his feelings, and yes, he shuts people out. But he’s not heartless.”

Olivia looked confused, then realised he was talking about Asher. His lips curled into a smile at her bemused face. "I am Alpha Abel, Asher’s uncle.”
