Sometimes, I was not reading but looking through the vast catalogue and picking out the books that sounded interesting. That afternoon, I had piled up twenty books on the table. I was still looking for more when the door opened and Leilani walked in. It was almost lunch time so I figured she had come to invite me for it. “Hello,” I said. “Hey,” she said, picking up one of the books on the table. We are going to help you? Don’t be scared.” I know that voice. It is a man's voice. It has brought me comfort before. But who is it?

The door opens a while after, revealing an eleven-year-old boy in a black top and a matching pair of khaki trousers- Derek. “You look sad?” I ask, taking his backpack off his shoulders. “Didn’t you have fun with Scott?” “You’re late. Again,” he mutters, maintaining the annoyed look on his cute little face. “They had fun,” Sofia informs, joining us outside. “Thank you,” I smile. “And by the way, you look terrible.” I look at the blue short-sleeved gown I have on and can't help but agree with her. It has some stains here and there making it look even worse than it originally was.

The bookshelf was just as tall as Andrew so he could easily access the books there. The bookshelf had all sorts of books, ranging from fictional novels to nonfictional novels, to educational novels and textbooks. Even the Encyclopedia was in his bookshelf. And there was also some novels on the basis of business and finance. The book the lad was currently reading was The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian by Sherman Alexie.

Another grab for the book and some food, then I crossed my legs and opened my reading books while I ate my sandwich heartily. "Are you reading that ham again?" I felt Wynn's gaze more than I saw him. "It can't be that interesting." But she could only say that because she didn't read anything but mindless teen magazines. "I am learning. Give it a try, it's good for your future. "
