BULLIED BY THE ALPHA PRINCE
I feel exposed but stay close to Alice, who seems unfazed by the attention.
She stops in front of a shelf, leans closer, and tilts a stack of books aside, revealing a space big enough to spot Jasper and Juliet.
“Look at them,” she whispers.
I peer through the books. Jasper is animatedly talking about his wild ideas and plans, his enthusiasm unfiltered, while Juliet listens, seemingly lost in a daydream.
They look closer than before, comfortable in each other's company.
“Since the dance, Juliet’s gotten over her fear of approaching him. And well, Jasper likes having an audience, so it works out perfectly, I guess,” Alice explains.
