I grumbled under my breath, "you might scare your patients to death, though. Don't say I didn't warn you."
My sister was your everyday gothic chick. She had dyed her thick chestnut hair black and from the age of fifteen wore thick eyeliner constantly. Most days I wondered if she even combed her hair. She shared mom's dark brown eyes as well which made her look like something out of my nightmares.
"At least I'm not trying to look like Alice Cullen 2.0," Tory bit back, gesturing to my haircut.
"Girls," mom's voice sounded in a warning tone, "can you please not fight."
