And why had I been chosen to attend this mysterious academy? My questions were soon answered as a woman in white approached me, her bright green eyes shining with an otherworldly glow. Follow me please.” I followed the woman, still feeling a bit uneasy about everything. She led me to the dorms and showed me to my room, which was cozy and decorated in shades of green and white. I was relieved to have a place to rest and collect my thoughts.

One Hundred and Four Freda’s POV I felt different, and I was certain I surely smelled nicer. I finally took my bath and changed into another dress. Ava also bathed and collected one of my dresses. She looked at herself and realized that she was still in her gown from her wedding reception the previous night. Alice wondered where she was. The last thing she could remember was jumping into the water and everything going dark and still. Now she was breathing and in a strange place. She stood up from the bed and slowly moved to the window to see. She opened the curtain slightly to look outside and she could see the busy street below her. She then knew she was somewhere in a story building, a high story building. The day was so bright and from the sun's brightness, she could tell that it was almost noon or maybe noon. She heard the room door open and she quickly turned to see who it was. F

She wasn’t rude or anything, but it was just odd. Gardenia smiled, "Can I ask for your name? It will be easier to find you if I know your name." Why did she suddenly imagine the kid following her around just like a duckling or a chick? "Yeah… you really described me well earlier. Alice. That’s my name." She answered with the realization that she had never mentioned her name to the child before. Her eyes twinkled upon hearing her answer, "Like Alice in Wonderland?" "Yes, except I’m nowhere near wonderland." It was magical in some sense, but it’s purely hell.

The cells were intact and the guards were shaken and the witch was still there. She was sitting in the corner with her back against the wall and her black eyes fixed on the door. She looked up when I walked in and her smile was sharp. She was not afraid. She was not confused. She was not surprised. She had been waiting for this moment and she knew it was coming. "Alpha," she said. "I was wondering when you would come." "What happened?" "Magic happened." "What kind of magic?" "The kind you cannot control." I stepped closer and my voice was low. She looks ready to crawl into a hole, yet she does everything to conceal her embarrassment by reaching out a hand across the table for Finn to shake. "I believe we didn't properly introduce ourselves. I'm Alice, and I'm not a werewolf but a witch." Finn grins and shakes her hand. "My name is Finn, and I'm a fairy." "Fairy?" Alice blinks. "But I always thought they were tiny?" Finn smirks in amusement. "Really? Because in my world, fairies can change their size—most are large enough to eat humans. I've savored some unlucky souls myself, but I prefer creatures with fewer bones in them. Humans taste weird."
