Taking a deep breath, Alice opened it. The safe door opened, allowing sunlight to illuminate everything inside. There was a necklace there, as well as some cash and evidence of ownership. Alice took out the necklace and held it for a long time in her hand. In the sunlight, the lovely green gem gleamed beside a few diamonds. Alice considered the necklace to be more valuable than the bracelet Giselle had given her. The necklace had been the sole clue that led her to Zayden, so she had always treated it as a hot potato, refusing to take it out.

I reach up, ignoring the twitch in my side, and pull it down. I open it to check the contents. Inside sits a diamond necklace. A heavy, detailed choker of white stones. I stare at it. I frown. I lift it up to the light. "Hurry up!" Alice calls from the bedroom. I rub my thumb over the setting. It's light. Too light. And the way the stones refract the light... there's no fire. No depth. It's fake. It's a very good replica, cubic zirconia set in silver, not platinum. But it is absolutely, undeniably fake.

Alice called the maid she had entrusted the necklace to before taking her bath and the bed bowed and handed her the sparkling necklace. "Wow it's gorgeous, I haven't seen any necklace of this kind before, do you know who made it?" Queen Linda asked. "Or do you Bernice?" She turned to asked Gagé's mother who nodded negatively. "Wear what you want to wear my dear, this necklace is very gorgeous." Queen Bernice said with a smile and Alice thanked them. At the largest ball room in the entire Aceland Gagé stood before the priest on the alter and looked at the closed door nervously.

Her eyes shone with the reflected brilliance of the gems and surprise. Moreover, this was the aquamarine necklace she’d been forced to sell after her family went bankrupt—a magnificent piece with a gemstone as similar as her own eye color and a uniquely striking design. She would never mistake it for anything else. Covering her mouth in disbelief, Lena whispered, "How could it be..." How could it be in Alaric’s hands? "Especially since it’s our first Christmas together," Alaric finished his words. He had just mentioned that the challenge wasn’t about the food at all, but about this necklace that had just arrived. The original plan was for him to give it to her after returning from his busine

The necklace in the glass has a beautiful blue sapphire pendant. It seemed to bewitch my eyes so I wouldn't take my eyes off it. Staring at it for a long time made me fantasize that there was life in that rich deep blue. "So beautiful" I mumbled "Everyone who saw it said the same thing" Cecil's voice right behind me made me flinch "Whose is this?" I don't think this is just normal necklace "Why was it left here?" "because the owner is long gone. It belongs to a Luna. Mate from the Previous Alpha. Alpha Storm. The necklace belongs to Alpha Victor's mother who passed away a long time ago"

But I just stared straight at him, my expression frozen. I knew this necklace. It was a gift from Damien. It was engraved with his family crest, the symbol of the Lycan Queen. It also contained a special crystal, perfectly attuned to my wolf. Only I was worthy to wear it. "The. Necklace. Is. Mine." I repeated through gritted teeth, reaching for it. Alec slammed my hand down, his voice a cold warning. "Elena, you lost the right to wear this long ago." Serena grew bolder.

Rachel had treasured it, worn it constantly, thought it meant he loved her. Now it hung around Alice's neck like a trophy. Rage flooded through me, hot and violent. My hands shook. I wanted to run over there and rip the necklace off her throat. I wanted to scream that she was wearing a dead woman's jewelry. That she had no right to anything that belonged to Rachel. But I stayed frozen in my seat, watching through the dark lenses of my sunglasses. Lucas paid for their drinks. They waited at the end of the counter, standing close together. Lucas whispered something in Alice's ear and she giggled again.

The morning light filtered softly through my window, illuminating the delicate necklace in my hand—the necklace Alpha Cedric had given me. The simple silver chain was adorned with a small, ruby pendant that caught the light with a subtle glow, reminding me of the mystery that still shrouded my past. I wondered if wearing it at the coronation would be a mistake. It might spark questions from the court, raise eyebrows, stir fears… but maybe, in a strange way, that was what I wanted. Maybe it was time for the truth, for others to acknowledge that I was different—and that I was proud of it.

She ignored he pleads "Until then, make sure you do not touch any light. I promise I will come for you" "Today?" Gio asked. Alita wasn't sure of what to say, she pushed him gently inside thinking of what to say. She bent down, open the zip of her bag pack, and brought out a necklace, the same one her dying mother gave her years ago. "I will come back for this," She said.
