I was expecting his body to be feel cold. He almost felt ¨human¨ except he smelled like maple syrup. No normal human smells like maple syrup. My body relaxed into his arms and I feel a sudden sense of peace envelop me, like I couldn´t care less if I died right there and then if it meant this is the last feeling I would feel. Most importantly, why did I even smell him in the first place?

If it’s only for Alphas, won’t Chris get in trouble for letting his little sister get hold of it? I shrug and I skim through the pages, trying to find something interesting before trying to read about the werewolf caste system, just like what father said. Everything about the book is foreign to me. Goddesses, werewolves, vampires, phoenixes, foxes, fairies, and sirens? Oh, and before I forget, there’s mention of witches in the book as well. Did my life suddenly become a storybook? My eyes stop at a familiar word written in the chapter: Stars.

As I look at the front page, I see the title: ‘The Bloodsuckers, Shapeshifters, and Spellcasters.’ I grabbed another heavy book, as heavy as the first one. Its title, ‘The Realm of Lunaria’, convinced me to start reading this first. To readily grasp everything, I must first learn about their realm before I can even begin to know those mysterious beings.

Hello, my fellow readers. It has been a shock to the system to return to my author dashboard to find that Mated To The Alpha Alien has gained some readers who really enjoyed the book. Especially when I was told that no one would enjoy this genre. The book is unfinished and because it's been along time and I like to write whatever spontaneously comes to mind on the day... I'll have to re-read the book and carry on from there. (I'm such an ammature that I did not keep any notes! LOL)
