Jossie was ecstatic, and so was Gynith. Even the jackass Briar seemed to be delighted at the news. It seemed like the camp was up and running again, even though Alistair had to supervise everything in a wheelchair.

“Ah…” “He’s just human, like yourself. Why wouldn’t you go out like someone who can call himself a God?” Like Kurai. Right. “Wow. You are right. He is not human.” Anubis frown by what I said then suddenly beamed a smile. “He’s like a God, too?” Did he mean someone who is filthy rich, right? “Yes.” And I tried to go along with him.

After I got it I pulled out a chair and sat in front of the table near it by the window. "Deceptive," I read in the written title of the book, I opened it in turn and what popped up to me was a picture of a large creature that was half human and wolf, its body full of feathers. “He has no death, to this day he is still alive, trying to save the woman he first loved and wants to be with for life,” I read here. There was some spark that flowed through my being. I wasted no more time and I opened the book, but my torn eyebrows met its pages, even if I looked over and over I could not read anything, until I got to the back of the book and there was I noticed a very small letter.

I smiled. It made Mia calm down a bit. “You are right!” she agreed. “Of course, I am!” I said. “ I will make some tea for you, girls.” While I was making tea, I was still thinking about that old man. I had to be very thankful to him, because he saved my life. It seems, like the book of my life couldn’t end right there. I wonder, what is in this delivery. When the tea was ready, I called girls and we sat together in the living room, drinking it.

I put the phone down, tried to breathe like Mom had taught me when I got anxious. But I couldn't stop. I picked up the phone again. Kept reading. Found Darren's memoir page. Four and a half stars. Elena. My feeling of being abandoned intensified as I went about my days in a not so exciting nor alive manner. It soon started to feel like repeated days as each day went by.
