“A trap.” Kai cracked his knuckles. “A stylish trap.” Tess clung to Lena again. “I don’t want to go in there.” Elara gently touched her shoulder. “I know.” The screen flashed again. NEW WORLD ACTIVATED RULES WILL BE REVEALED AS YOU PLAY Everyone stared. Then chaos exploded. “What does that mean?!” Noah shouted. “How do we survive without rules?” “That is the rule,” Mira said quietly. “That makes no sense!” “It doesn’t need to.”

“Scared you’ll miss me if we fight and I die?” “I’ll throw your body at the enemy as warning.” “Romantic.” “Practical.” I sighed, already regretting everything but also feeling strangely happy. “If the two of you come with me, there will be rules.” Both of them groaned at the same time. I pointed at them. “Rule one, no killing my people unless I approve it. Rule two, no threatening my commanders during meals. Rule three, no using Alpha aura to win arguments with accountants. Rule four, if either of you starts a fight in my headquarters because someone looked at me too long, I will personally lock you in separate rooms and feed you paperwork until you cry.”

No one has ever gotten nearer to Adrian talk less of standing besides him. “Alright let's begin, you can come over to collect your badge, this will allow you to record your position and the number of flags who collect for your team. And there's no rule for the game apart from you aren't allowed to kill. Killing is highly prohibited. And when you feel like you can't continue then just release some of your mana into the badge and it will take you out immediately.” After the middle age man leisure them about the mission. The students all went to collect the badge. They all felt excited as they could do what ever they wished to do in there. Although killing was prohibited, but they didn't say st

“Yes, my way. Now, listen.” “Okay. All ears.” He lays his back on the couch and placed his legs up above the the couch, folding his arms. His socked feet were almost brushing my body. “Rule number one, this is fake.” “Yeah. I never said it was real.” “Let me finish. I mean fake fake, no romance, no intimacy. No flirting, no touching. Unless handshakes for agreement or formal hugs for filming.” I looked at his face and he was grinning. “What? This isn't funny.”

"I want you to rewrite the divorce agreement. 500 million… or we die together." The knife cut into my skin. My eye twitched violently. She really meant to kill me. I forced myself to stay calm and spoke in a low, steady voice. "Calm down. Do you really want to spend the rest of your life in prison because of me?" Her trembling hand slashed across my arm, leaving a deep gash. "I've got no way out... I might as well die with you!" Before she could finish the sentence, a figure appeared behind me. In one swift motion, the person grabbed her wrist, and the knife clattered to the ground.

"There are no other rules for this game." My throat dried up. No other rules. Meaning killing was allowed even encouraged because if one were to get rid of their competition regardless of how late they were they could still make the top six if there were only six people left in the game. "What are you doing here?" I turned slowly to see Adelyn glaring at me with two minions behind her. Unlike us, she was fully geared. There was no way she didn't know that the selection would happen that night. She definitely knew. I tried to form the words but I couldn't, which made her more furious.

Everyone was listening to him peacefully. He continued again, "It's upsetting for us that after all these years, Claire is being challenged. But as we don't want any distrust, any grief within our alliance, so Claire will accept the challenge. But no one dies tonight. The rules are different tonight. No one is allowed to injure their allies. In the end, we are all together. We can't have any internal conflict. So the rules will be maintained extremely. Anyone who tries to pull out any illegal move gets expelled," he said.

“I am going to tell you the rules of the cage. If you enter, that means you herby agree with them. You may have your chance to list your own rules. Rule one: You cannot leave the cage until someone is either unconscious or taps out. If you try to jump the fence, my men will pick you up and throw your ass back in. Rule two: Queen Nina is going to send an electrical current through the metal. If you touch the fence, you will be electrocuted. Now it isn’t enough to kill you or even make you unconscious, but it will be enough that you feel it. Rule three and final rule: Everything counts.” Dad took his hand off Calvin’s shoulder and waited to see if he was going to enter or reject. The crowd was

Rule Two: You will answer your phone when I call. Rule Three: No physical relationship. Do not touch me unless I’m plunging to my death. I pause. My pen hovers above the paper. Then I write another line. Rule Four: You will not investigate my past without my permission. That one feels important. And very necessary. Then I add one more.
