The Wolf's Call (Book 1)

The Wolf's Call (Book 1)

“Figures. Cowards always run from what they don’t understand.” "Someone died," I choke out and his eyes snap to mine. "One of the people under the plague went into a cardiac arrest and died a few minutes ago." "What?" "It seems all their final destination is death, unless we're able to kill Malakai off first." Olivia’s small hand finds mine. Her fingers are cold—too cold for someone whose core temperature is boiling. “It’s okay, Zeke,” she whispers, her voice hoarse and strained. “Maybe they’re right. Maybe this is the only way.”

Wild ridge

Wild ridge

“Then you walked into my life and proved me wrong.” Before I could answer, Pestilence loudly cleared his throat. “If you two are done making the rest of us sick with all that romance…” War snorted into his beer. “…we’ve actually got something important.” Death sighed dramatically. “Can’t I have five minutes with my girlfriend?” “No,” Famine replied flatly. “You already had all night.” The entire clubhouse erupted into laughter. I buried my face against Death’s shoulder, groaning while he chuckled. “Traitors,” he muttered at his brothers.

Declared Dead, Replaced by a Fraud

She claimed she had more to confess and insisted on seeing Henry. When she met with Henry, she immediately retrieved the hairpin that she hid and stabbed it right into Henry's heart. Henry died on the spot from excessive blood loss. Nora was soon executed as well. I heard that before she died, she kept apologizing to me. However, I no longer had any feelings for her. With the approval documents in hand, I took the train back to North Westonia. I was going to spend the rest of my life there, devoting it entirely to national defense.

My Dead Fiancée Returned With Another Man

My Dead Fiancée Returned With Another Man

In the third year after my fiancée, Iris Ford, falls off a cliff during a sketching trip in the mountains, I accidentally walk into her personal art exhibition. The person I have longed for day and night is right there, gently adjusting the scarf of the young man beside her. The walls are covered with portraits she once promises to paint only for me, but every subject of her paintings is that young man. Violet Bardot, Iris' best friend and the one who once helps me handle her funeral affairs, grabs me anxiously. "Graham, don't do anything rash. Iris has her reasons. After Jack Glenwood saved her, she suffered from a head injury and lost her memory. She didn't mean to stay away." I smile

I Died On Our Anniversary

I Died On Our Anniversary

Day twelve since I came back. Twelve days of building something in this palace, piece by piece, thread by thread. The elder. Lysa. Veran. Lady Cassel. The infirmary. The assembly. The vessel in the merchant quarter. And tonight, when Caelan reaches for his plan and finds it has been changed in the dark, the thing he built to end me is going to call us both instead. I am not afraid. That is the thing I keep noticing and finding significant. I came back from death carrying three years of memory and a second chance and the specific knowledge of what this man is capable of and I am not afraid of him.

The Alpha's Dead Mate

The Alpha's Dead Mate

Chapter 3 Zenith’s POV I stared at the piece of drawing in my hand, a thousand thoughts running through my mind all at once. ‘Mama and Eli’ I said the words in a whisper, my mind refusing to accept the reality staring back at me. But one look at Sabrina told me all I needed to know. The kid was hers. “It could be ours,” Alder said excitedly. “Don’t!” I warned. “Have you forgotten what she did to us–?”

But Dad, I'm Already Dead

But Dad, I'm Already Dead

The pain in my neck was gone. I realized I could fly. My body floated through the air as light as a cloud. Drifting upward, I looked down. Below the balcony, a boy in a blue winter coat hung from a strand of bunting. His body was swaying gently in the freezing wind. His face was a bruised purple, and his wide eyes were staring blankly into the distance. Why did he look exactly like me? That was when it hit me. I was dead.

Flames Of Hate and Retribution

Flames Of Hate and Retribution

"And what good would an alliance with a bunch of dead people do us! Stupid dog go sniff some asses!" "Well let's hear it. What'd our good luck/ bad luck charm do?" .... The question brought Alayna back to reality. She hesitated briefly, figuring the best way to respond. "Kind of all those things I guess? But he didn't kill everyone." ... "So he did kill someone?" "Yeaaaaa-... There was certainly a lot of killing." She hummed. "By the gods." Cassandra groaned dropping into her seat.

Principessa
I didn't think I would enjoy this book, but I did. I commend the writer for a good job. The unexpected plot twist at the middle kept me glued and I couldn't stop reading. I enjoyed reading, it makes me angry, sad and happy. This is one of the best books I have read on this app.
Lin Dean
Friendly advice. DO NOT READ!!! The book starts good, but around the middle and especially at the end is SOOO BAD. Too many clichés just to keep the book going. The writer loses tracks of characters and plot lines, leaving plot holes. There is barely any logic in what is written. HORRIBLE BOOK!!!
