Triplets For My Alpha

Triplets For My Alpha

I said. I could hear the soft crisp laughter from across the phone. "No problem. I'll still tell you anything." An hour later, I had made more lemon crinkle cookies than I expected. Rose, Jasmine and Violet had just gone through a series of nosebleeds almost simultaneously, so I made the cookies to make them feel better. They ate their fill, but there were still two jars left over. Gloria refused to eat more, suggesting I take the rest of the cookies to the packhouse. Well, it wouldn’t hurt to share.

A Naughty Christmas Affair: Fake Dating My Ex Brothers

A Naughty Christmas Affair: Fake Dating My Ex Brothers

“Are you heading out?” “No? I came looking for you.” “I need to do another tray of these cookies,” she says. “I’m almost out up front, and they’re a popular seller.” “Cookies,” I say, pinning her with a look. “Cookies,” she replies. “Cranberry macadamia nut with white chocolate. You can try one when they come out of the oven if you want.” Autumn makes a show of evenly spacing each scoop of cookie dough, giving it all her focus like it’s the most important thing she’s ever done. She’s obviously trying to pretend everything is fine, acting cheerful and light, but she still won’t look at me.

Bewitching The Deadly Vampire

Bewitching The Deadly Vampire

“He has been very persistent to want you and Rune back to his castle. He must be feeling very lonely in his castle. He must want you back very badly, Adrienne.” Adrienne only listened to her friend as they enjoyed the late afternoon tea with all the apple recipes on the table. Rune was obliviously enjoying his sweet endlessly. She even made a strawberry apple pie which Rune had developed a deep liking. “Why don’t you return to him?” Nimue asked as she forked an apple cobbler from her plate and put it in her mouth. “I’ll think about, Nimue,” said Adrienne in a non-committal voice. She had grown tired and beyond exasperated with Alaric’s unusual antics this entire month. If she was going to ge

And look—I was right. "I'm running a company," she protested, even as she leaned into his hand. "We introduced the fall line this week." "And yet," he said, holding up a paper bag, "not a single croissant in sight." She gasped. "You brought—" "Almond. From that bakery close to the Eiffel Tower. I made Margo promise not to tell." As if on cue, the noise of giggling filtered from outside her door. Low, muffled, and very not subtle.

Thrill of the Chase

Thrill of the Chase

"All set. You've got 12 chocolate chip, 6 peanut butter, and 6 snickerdoodles." He flashes a smirk and gives me a once-over. "Is this some sort of trick question?" he teases. I respond with a smirk of my own, closing the boxes. "Clever," I say, "Enjoy your cookies, Mr. Adams." He glances at my name tag and nods approvingly. "That works." With boxes in hand, he exits the shop, leaving behind a parting wink. I offer a friendly shake of my head. Boys. Afterward, I check a text message from Avery that had arrived a few minutes before closing time:

Troubled Heart

Troubled Heart

“Perfect meal.” The combined tables were big enough to allow us room but felt intimate. Elbows bumped. Forks were stolen. Clay tried to sneak bites off Makayla’s plate until she stabbed a carrot stick in warning. Forrest narrated the ongoing “Justice Bar” fundraiser Elijah was running back home like it was a Marvel origin story. “He’s got a triple batch of lemon-almond oat bars cooling as we speak. Our kitchen likely smells like righteous vengeance.” He said. “And roasted almonds,” Reese added dryly.

Bryant truly is such a gifted writer. This is another great story that is absolutely worth a read! Loved the characters/their personalities and the differences they brought to the table that balanced each other out beautifully. As always author - job well done! Cant wait for more from you :)

Great read. As always, Author Bryant keeps you on the edge of your seat. Just enough spice to be spicy but not too much. I love that everything Bryant puts in her books has a purpose. There isn’t a spicy scene just to have one. Everything builds for the storyline and characters. Another 5 star.

Mr. Rogue King, can you kidnap me please?

Mr. Rogue King, can you kidnap me please?

She then took me to the kitchen and left my hand. "So this is my sweet heaven. I spend most of my time here." She told me about what is kept where before she summoned the ingredients required for baking. She asked me if I had a certain flavor in mind and I instantly shared Beverly's favorite flavor, Almond Mocha. Pamela clapped excitedly and we decided to bake almond mocha cookies. Shadows began to stretch longer on the ground outside when we finished. We brought our plates of cookies to the huge living room. "Why are you standing? Sit." Pamela said.

THE MAFIA AND THE ARTIST

THE MAFIA AND THE ARTIST

“What’s antipasto?” “Are you kidding? Lettuce, roasted peppers, olives, anchovies, and cheese mainly. Then on the dessert table we have Baci DiDama, which are hazelnut meringue sandwiches filled with chocolate. We have cherry- almond star cookies, and pignoli—those are pine nut cookies. My aunt Lily makes a mean rainbow cookie with an almond filling, even though she’s not Italian. And of course you’ll find some cannoli and various fruits.”

The Don's Lethal Desire

The Don's Lethal Desire

Chapter 19: Bitter Almonds and betrayal Gwen The honeymoon lasted exactly three days before reality crashed back in. I was in the kitchen teaching Rosa how to make my grandmother's almond biscotti recipe, the one I'd learned from a cookbook I'd found at a thrift store when I was sixteen and desperate to learn anything about cooking. The almonds needed to be toasted just right, releasing their oils and that distinctive bitter-sweet scent that filled the kitchen. I was grinding them in the food processor when Marco burst through the door, his face pale and blood staining his shirt.

Run to Ground

Run to Ground

Pushing me down the route it wants me to take. Jim was panting and his lungs were beginning to burn. He wasn’t in the best shape and the running was taking its toll. Halfway down the new path he saw the grave. He recognised it instantly. The gravestone was unique; Jim knew every inch of it intimately. The moment he saw it he knew why the thing in the ground had guided him here.
