I stared at it. It was enormous, and much larger than the Northern Kingdom. Cities, mountain fortresses and sacred forests. Ancient trade routes, everything had been marked with incredible detail.

Aria's POV I sat back down slowly, the couch creaking beneath me as I pulled the laptop closer and zoomed the map out. The Sacred Path stretched across the screen like a pale scar cutting through a small forest and a river. It looked ancient and protected, but it still had some modern marks such as a smooth tarred road and streetlights. "Are you sure about this?" Maya asked as she sank down on the seat beside me. I said nothing. Instead, I dragged the map in slow, methodical movements, expanding the radius. One mile. Two. Seven.

He pressed a sequence of ancient symbols carved into the dark wood panelling. With a soft click, a section of the wall slid inward, revealing a small, dusty, circular room. The air inside smelled of old parchment and latent power. It was the original Alpha's study. In the center of the room, dominating one wall, was a massive, intricately detailed map of the entire Stormfang territory. It wasn't just topographical; it was annotated with symbols I didn't understand - lunar cycles, ritual sites, and boundary markers.

Several nearby warriors immediately noticed. "Kael!" Within seconds, the Alpha reached my side. His gaze locked onto the glowing wall. Every warrior nearby drew closer. Alpha Alder nodded, he gestured towards a lieutenant who quickly brought out another map of the clawhold and placed it on a war table placed close to the alpha. Alder moved forward and pointed his fingers at a crossed spot on the map, “This is where they will hit first.” The elders all moved forward and glanced at the spot he pointed out. At the same time, Lyra pulled away from her cohort of warriors and walked towards the war map where she smoothly entered the ranks of the elders and also huddled around the war table. Their eyes narrowed as they looked at what was mostly just a patch of wood. Alder circled a wide spot with charcoal ink and marked it again.
