His gaze snapped to the council members, his tone dropping. “Have you all lost your minds?” he continued, his voice echoing through the chamber as he took another step forward, “Laying hands on her like this…” A pause then his words next. “She is your Alpha. It seems you want to be executed for treason because you could not keep your curiosity to yourself.” Asher's voice was so dark that even I shivered. “A… Alpha?!”
