“Who's in favor of Sasha Forster being a Beta?” They almost blinked at the same time, even Giro. “Alpha,” the reddish blonde Beta frowned. "Allow me to say this but...the girl isn't fit enough to be called a Beta. Her being an Omega is enough, even with the—uh, you know, flames.”

The looming confrontation with Lex, the Alpha, casts a shadow over him, and he can't shake the unease that gnaws at him. Arlo, though Lex's Beta, understands the unique dynamics of their pack. Unlike traditional hierarchies, there is no inherent royalty among the leading members. His own ascent to the role of Beta wasn't a result of lineage or predetermined succession—it was a position he had earned through a twist of fate.

Melissa starts to talk but I cut her off. “Call me a bitch again you will see the inside of the dungeon. As of Midnight I am Beta of this pack and insulting the Beta is a crime. Colton is not an Alpha yet so even if he chooses you, you still hold no rank. So shut your mouth and your legs for five minutes and let me, the Beta, advise the future Alpha of his options.” Apollo and Dalton move so they are behind Melissa and can do the “we are not worthy” bows from Wayne’s World. Melissa stands shocked and Colton is trying not to laugh.

“It’s in the contract.” Ash sighed, resisting the urge to roll his eyes. Alpha’s could hide their scent, but they were terrible at hiding their red-blooded reactions. Alex was clearly trying his best, but there was a huffing flare to his nostrils that easily gave him away. “We still need to do a top down assessment, including resources. No layoffs planned,” Ash clarified. He leaned forward, smirking at the disgruntled Alpha. “I promise,” he purred in a submissive tone he knew would ease whatever was riling up inside the man.

" No dad , that's definitely not compensation " His mum clapped . " Isn't this nice ? Making up as soon as you break up ". She held out their cups of chocolate to them. " Speaking of break ups, Reno and Alex are official now. Olivia told me that Reno actually agreed easier than they had anticipated. According to her , Reno said , Marrying Herrera junior will make me Alpha so why not ? ", His mum added . Olivia was Reno's mother , the female Alpha of Fortnight . That was cold, he could've at least let me thank him for helping me that time. "What a dick." Daichi said, fixing up his tie. "They think just because they're alphas, they can strut around like their hot stuff, piss off." He yelled but they were probably too far to hear. Daichi is a beta and he's hated alphas for as long as I can remember but he's friends with some people who are alphas. He might hate alphas but in his words, "Only the Alphas who are too proud to distinguish right from wrong." Akito on the other hand is an alpha that he trusts, we all met in elemtary school but Daichi and I were friends first.

Together, we can overcome any obstacle that comes our way," Gamma proclaimed. As they ventured deeper into the wilderness, the pack encountered towering mountains blocking their path. Alpha, their gaze fixed upon the daunting peaks, called upon the pack for their input. "These mountains pose a formidable challenge. How shall we overcome them?" Alpha asked, their voice carrying an air of curiosity.

The way the Alpha spoke implied that Beta still harbored doubts about me, and his acceptance of my presence seemed compelled by his subordinate position to the Alpha. "Alpha, you have made a decision. Whatever you decide, I will follow," replied Beta, firmly establishing their stance. "Good." The Alpha nodded slowly, his expression tinged with sadness. "I hope that you will not only follow my decisions as a Beta, but also accept what I want in life as my friend or cousin."
