Chapter 15: Two Moons Entwined Chris read through the result slip a couple of times, thinking he had mistaken the word “Alpha” as “Omega”. Nevertheless, no matter how many times he read it, the word “Alpha” was clearly stated there. For whatever unknown reasons, Chris was not satisfied with the result and he was denying the fact Nathan was an Alpha. Before this, he was certain his best friend was an Alpha and he did not mind it. However, after talking to his mother and listening to her thoroughly, Nathan’s description fitted more to be an Omega rather than an Alpha. Nonetheless, a heavy-seed Omega — the rarest of the rare.

The first was a female and she barely knew her that much since she's married to her mate. The second oldest was Cyrus, who stays in the alpha's household ever since he got his mate. Yeah, he is soon to be the next beta of their pack though. And the least oldest. Alexander. He has nothing to write home about, that is in Petal's point of view. Just like their father, he bully and picked on her, making everything more difficult for her. He cares less about her existence and make her do his work, watching his friends pick on her and turn her into a laughing stock, forgetting the fact that they are siblings.

“First, tell me why you don’t want to see him.” I hesitate. “I don’t know, but it just doesn’t sit well with me. It always feels like I’ve lost by agreeing to meet with him.” She sighs. “I get it. You want to distance yourself from the weak, manipulative Rylee you used to be. While I’m all for you keeping your individuality, that doesn’t mean you should forget who you are.” She pats my hand. “He’s Alvar, Alpha of the Dark Moon pack, and your people are in his hands. Now that you’re an Alpha, you have responsibilities to consider.”

We all sat in a circle at the edge of the cliff and at the center there was a big tree that was for the Head and his mate who were Alpha Hunter and his Luna. The weather was cool and eerie. Each breath could be heard with the slight wind. The moon was at its brightest shining on us all in our wolf forms. All of us were seated upright as the silence dominated all around. Not too long we could see them enter in their wolf forms. Alpha Hunter was fair and had brown fur with slit eyes and sharp pointy fangs escaping his jaws. It's the first time to appear in front of us small pack Alphas who weren't under the Moon pack. His Luna was by his side. She was slim with light brown fur and her eyes wer

Tomas shouted once we entered and Jon smacked his hands. We made our way to the unoccupied seats and sat down. I squeezed his hands tightly suddenly feeling overwhelmed with all these Alphas. I've only met a few of them in the past. Most of them present had not taken any sides during the conflict and we're just here to witness the new change of ownership in territory. "Welcome everybody" Rome's voice traveled clearly around the room. "This is my mate, Frost. Rightful Alpha of the red stone pack, and the last blood wolf"

She loved this cat-and-mouse game almost as much as I needed my Luna at the moment. She smiled and trailed her fingertip down my torso. "Tell me about being an Alpha," she whispered. "Does everyone do what you want all the time?" "Yes," I breathed. "That's not in my nature, you know." "Oh, it will be," I whispered. "You'll fall right into your place as Luna. The Alpha is the head of the pack. His Luna is his equal, but she doesn’t disobey him. You'll be tethered to me for life. Every need you have, I'll make sure you have it, and vice versa."

"You have the Dominant Alpha Gene, and one day you will help me lead this pack." For a long while after that I couldn't get it out of my head. Me? An Alpha? That couldn't be.
