He stood behind me, so we were both looking at my body in the mirror. Instead of examining my flaws, I focused on Alpha Alexander's face. His eyes burned with desire, and he licked his lips. There was that predatory look again, his eyes flashing with his wolf, a powerful mix of gold and silver. Alphas usually possessed just one eye color, golden when they shifted, but Alpha Alexander had both silver and gold. I had no idea what the silver meant. "Incredible..." he murmured, reaching around to cup my breasts, lifting them and letting them drop. "Gorgeous lines..." He slid his hands down my sides.

Abigail's POV Swallowing hard, I couldn't pull my gaze away from the dark, almost black eyes that bore into me. I had been here a day and had already managed to upset an Alpha wolf. As the meeting continued, I lowered my eyes, keeping them fixed on the floor, not daring to look back up at those eyes I felt glaring into me. I wanted to use my God given gifts to push into his mind but decided now wasn't the time to aggravate the situation.

The car stopped, pulling her from her thoughts and she took her gaze away from the window to catch Alpha Clause staring at her with a look she couldn't identify in his eyes. He let a small smile touch his lips as he continued staring into her eyes. She felt her eyes go to his lips as she noticed how pink and plump they looked. She looked back into his eyes, seeing that he saw her staring at his lips.

He is smart after all. Ella huffs in anger as she gets into the car. I expect Alpha Elijah to do the same, but he doesn’t. Instead, he takes calculated steps towards me and when we are just a few inches away, he stops and looks me straight in the eye. I don’t look away, instead I take that opportunity to examine the emotions I see swimming in his eyes and they get me all confused. Something about the way he looks at me tells me that he doesn’t want to do this, that he’s only doing this to satisfy his ego, but not his heart.

When I sit again, I scan them. The man in the middle, the Alpha, has a long scar dissecting his face that cuts straight through one eye. I’m guessing it was that blow that cost him his sight. The eye is milky white and opaque. The man beside him is broad, with sandy-blond hair and dark eyes. I’m guessing he’s the Beta. The other two must be Gamma and Delta. I recognise the Delta from our first night here.

Dylan nodded his head in reply. Livia smiled at him and hugged him. Watching all of this, Alice felt if the ground opened and she could have buried herself, it would be better for her. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She was not that woman who would destroy others' happiness. She opened her eyes and it was cold enough to kill anyone by just looking at her eyes. "Alpha."
