I told him and he looked at me with pure astonishment. "What do you mean"? I took him to the wall size mirror and there. He was shocked. Surprised. Mesmerized. What else? His eyes were flashing crimson. "See. You have eyes like me". I backhugged him, while he was touching his eyes. "But yours are deep blue". He noticed. Did I say my baby is super observant? "It’s because I am Alpha. Your eyes will flash red and golden. Mostly red. Because you will be a vampire more. While in the pack it will be golden". I explained and he sighed.

Pine and frost and furious, untamed power. An Alpha’s scent. And it’s coming from right behind me.

Weak like I'm gonna get my head ripped off by Godzilla. His cold yet beautiful eyes kept staring at me until he took a step forward and forcefully grabbed my chin. His scent filled my nose. He smelt like some citrus tropical, woodzy mixture or something like that and it was quite alluring. This is probably the worst time to do this but I started to stare at him. I know there is something about Alphas that makes them naturally hot, but he was something else. His eyes, even though they're cold and bitter, they're an azure blue with long full eyelashes adorning them. Pink plum lips that are literally begging to be kissed and a sculpted jaw ...

Surely, it can't be? "Degar, pull out your cell phone, place a call to your source and ask him about the eyes." He ordered instantly. "The what?" Degar asked. "Eyes. There are only two Alphas that returned back to us in the last ten years. The answer will be gray eyes if it is who I think it is. Adanel has brown—almost black eyes. By the eyes, we will know. Call your source. Now." Degar whipped out his phone immediately and placed the call. It went through on the second ring.

Abigail's POV Swallowing hard, I couldn't pull my gaze away from the dark, almost black eyes that bore into me. I had been here a day and had already managed to upset an Alpha wolf. As the meeting continued, I lowered my eyes, keeping them fixed on the floor, not daring to look back up at those eyes I felt glaring into me. I wanted to use my God given gifts to push into his mind but decided now wasn't the time to aggravate the situation.

The car stopped, pulling her from her thoughts and she took her gaze away from the window to catch Alpha Clause staring at her with a look she couldn't identify in his eyes. He let a small smile touch his lips as he continued staring into her eyes. She felt her eyes go to his lips as she noticed how pink and plump they looked. She looked back into his eyes, seeing that he saw her staring at his lips.

He is smart after all. Ella huffs in anger as she gets into the car. I expect Alpha Elijah to do the same, but he doesn’t. Instead, he takes calculated steps towards me and when we are just a few inches away, he stops and looks me straight in the eye. I don’t look away, instead I take that opportunity to examine the emotions I see swimming in his eyes and they get me all confused. Something about the way he looks at me tells me that he doesn’t want to do this, that he’s only doing this to satisfy his ego, but not his heart.

When I sit again, I scan them. The man in the middle, the Alpha, has a long scar dissecting his face that cuts straight through one eye. I’m guessing it was that blow that cost him his sight. The eye is milky white and opaque. The man beside him is broad, with sandy-blond hair and dark eyes. I’m guessing he’s the Beta. The other two must be Gamma and Delta. I recognise the Delta from our first night here.

Dylan nodded his head in reply. Livia smiled at him and hugged him. Watching all of this, Alice felt if the ground opened and she could have buried herself, it would be better for her. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She was not that woman who would destroy others' happiness. She opened her eyes and it was cold enough to kill anyone by just looking at her eyes. "Alpha." She called. Everyone moved aside and let her catch a glimpse of Dylan. Looking at her eyes everyone was frightened. They did not turn blue or any other color but it was cold that gave others chills on their spine.
