It was a ring, a big shiny gold ring; one of those that only Alphas around here wore… and sometimes, their Betas. “Is… is that…?” I stuttered, looking down at my fingers and frowning when I saw that I still had mine with me. “It isn’t yours, Alpha.” He drawled, almost sounding bored. “I don’t have one of these so it isn’t mine either. Someone was here… and he is probably an Alpha, I just do not know how to decode the words on these rings to know which exact pack.” As soon as Ian said those words, my mind immediately traveled to Michael and Damon. They were the only Alphas who had been stupid enough to go toe to toe with me these past few months… especially Damon. A frown creased my forehead.

CYRUS’ POV I sighed heavily, my knuckles throbbing and the dull ache on the side of my face seemed to increase more. I twirled the silver ring on my index finger around, the feeling of the design of the ring causing the movement on the outside to be less smoother than it was supposed to. It was a ring my father had given me when he handed down the title of Alpha to me, and he claimed it'd been passed down in our pack for generations. It wasn't too fancy though, made of pure silver with the pack symbols crested over it, and the motto crested on the inside.

The pack, rather, Al and Ed, had worked really hard to prepare the ring for the fight. Even if I didn’t have enough motivation to squash Klaus, the exasperated look on Ed and Al’s face when I snap Klaus’s neck into two was enough motivation. The ring was merely made up of four boulders placed at the edges of a wide clearing. The rules were simple, only one person leaves the ring alive. And that person becomes the Alpha, as willed by the moon goddess herself.

That is not even the problem but them not understanding that I have been looking for him is pissing me off. The phone started ringing again, I dread picking it up. That talking monster hasn't stopped ringing in the last couple of hours. I let it ring out without picking up, if it is an important call the caller will certainly call back. I'm too busy for irrelevant calls. It stopped ringing and almost immediately it started ringing again. "Better be something good " I muttered before picking it up. "Alpha silvana on the line, how may I help you" I rattled away formally even though I wish I could cuss at the person.

He just chuckles and said: “It's not me who is entitled to be here… It is you” Celine looked confused and annoyed. She didn't understand what was going on. “I don't know what you're talking about… Who are you exactly?” she asks again, trying to sound brave, but all she wants is to leave this place as fast as possible. “Celine, I think I have enough of explaining things to you…” Alpha King started to say, then stood in front of Celine, who's now on her feet. “You should already know my name already…” “What do you mean?” She asks again and was scared. “Please don't hurt me….”

Then, Ash also cut a portion for himself to enjoy. When Alec put the third brownie into his mouth, he felt that he bit a hard object. After spitting out the in his mouth, a simple platinum ring came into his eyes. The four English letters AS and AL were engraved in the ring. The man widened his eyes and looked at the beautiful lover sitting in front of him in surprise, "Ash .this..." Alex eyes revealed his surprise. The ring in his hand might not be what he thought. ? "This is...?"

Serena had just slipped into her room when the knock came at her door and one of the senior female betas June entered followed by two omegas. June held a small golden chalice in her hand. “What is that?” Serena asked. “The Alpha has sent some sedatives to calm your nerves during the ceremony. It would only last for thirty minutes. You can drink it right before the walk to the Ceremonial Circle.” June replied. “Thank you, you can keep it on the table.”

His other hand rose and wrapped around her shoulder, effectively trapping her in place. His brows lowered as he studied her, and his nostrils widened as if he were drinking in her scent. Not good. “D-Damon, you’re back at the med unit. I’m just checking you over to make sure—” His head lowered toward her throat. Hellen yelped, thinking he was going for her jugular, and she tried to push him back. Only there was no pushing him. Enhanced strength, definite check. It sure looked like Patrick was right about the alpha coming out in Damon.

The grand hall of the Alpha Council brimmed with an air of unease. Alpha Derek and Kael stood before the semicircle of Alphas, their expressions hardened. The council’s golden insignia glinted from the walls, an otherwise symbol of unity now overshadowed by the tension gripping the room.

“You’ve already asked me once.” Kael nodded. “I know.” His voice softened. “The first time” He glanced around at the gathered Alphas. “it was because our packs needed an alliance.” He looked back into her eyes. “Then we spent so much of our time fighting wars, surviving prophecies, and trying not to die.” A ripple of laughter spread through the crowd. Even Aria laughed. Kael reached into the small velvet box. Inside rested a simple silver ring. Unlike the ancient Moonstone Crown, it carried no precious jewels. Only two wolves are engraved beneath a full moon.
