"Yes, there is a hierarchy. There are different packs and each pack is led by an alpha. The alpha's mate is known as the luna. Once they are fully mated, these two become equal in power. Even if luna was at the bottom of the hierarchy, she becomes powerful when they mark and mate. There is a power transfer in that process. "Then there is the second in command, known as the beta and their mate becomes the beta female. The third in command is the gamma and their mate is the gamma female. Next in line are the warriors, the healers, and then the omega. However, there is a council made of the wisest former alphas and lunas. Some former warriors are eligible for the position of council member.

These are the only two sub-genders of humans here. In werewolf hierarchy, there are alphas, betas, deltas, gammas, and omegas in this order of command. These tell more on the rank of the werewolves rather than gender. So, even if a werewolf falls under a rank of a gamma, s/he can still either be an alpha or omega sub-gender in their human form.
