Alpha King Books Novels & Stories

A searing heat flooded my core, rushing all the way up to my flushed cheeks. I waited for him to shove me off. I waited for the fury. But Varek didn't move. He lay perfectly still in the snow, the cold doing nothing to cool the blazing, predatory fire in his dark golden eyes as he looked up at me. His gaze dragged from my parted lips, down the length of my messy blonde hair, and rested on where my hands pinned him down. A slow, dangerously amused smile curved the corner of his mouth. "Interesting." My breath hitched. And in that terrifying, electric moment, I realized exactly what I had just done. I hadn't just survived the training yard. I had just pinned the Alpha King.

“I’ll let you get your rest. Please try to get some sleep, Alpha Kendra.” “Get out,” Kendra rolled her eyes in an equally playful manner. “I’ll see you soon,” he said before he left. Once again, Kendra was alone. The adrenaline from having Derek there, and everything that followed, was wearing off. The reality of her situation was settling in again, causing panic to rise up. She had no idea what she was going to do, especially with the King coming in just a few short hours. She had heard of the Lycan King, a wolf who’s bloodline had been granted wolves by the Goddess herself, not through the lycanthropy virus, was a fair ruler, though cold. However, he was not one to be messed with, and he h

The Alpha King of Iron Nation was now the second most powerful leader out of the four werewolf nations. That used to be Alpha Mal of the Heether pack, but after the terrible tragedy that had befallen them, that crown now fell heavily upon Alpha William's head. Maybe too heavily. Beth abandoned Daniel and Jim to wade through the crowd that parted for her - she was a female Alpha, after all, even if she needed to disguise that she knew perfectly well how to exploit her aura thanks to a decade of experience she shouldn't have.

My voice shook, and my hands trembled in my lap. He sneered. “Do you think I chose you because of affection?” His words stung. “You are so worthless that even the strongest thing about you is useless to your own body.” He snarled before I could respond, making me flinch in my seat. “Your blood is what he needs. The Alpha King is dying. Kaven is the rightful heir to the throne, and if he does not recover soon, he will lose it. And all my effort to make Selene queen will be wasted.”

“What do you want me to say, Aela?” “That Finn is Aidan Sr.’s by-blow?” “By-blow?” Inessa repeated, her brow puckering. “His illegitimate child,” Aoife answered. “I need to get you hooked on historical romance next.” Despite myself, interest hit me. “You like romance books?” “Yes. We do,” was Inessa’s retort, but I sensed her bristling ahead of schedule. I raised my hands in surrender, because even though I wanted answers, I wasn’t a total bitch. Even if romance books hadn’t been my jam, I’d never give them crap about that. Someone’s taste was their taste, and I celebrated that.

I didn’t want to let Gilliam see how bad it was, but I couldn’t move. He stood over me, grinning. I glared up at him defiantly. He hadn’t won yet, no matter how bad it seemed. I wouldn’t give up. There was far too much at stake for me to lie down and die. “You are far too weak to be the Alpha King,” Gilliam continued. He took a step closer and lowered his head, looking into my eyes. “Once I’ve killed you and taken your place, I’m going to make sure that every single witch and wizard is wiped from the face of the planet.”

Cathy’s eyes practically popped out of her head as she stared at Stephanie in disbelief. I rolled my eyes, unable to suppress a sigh. Could this day get any stranger? “Wait, there’s an Alpha King?” I asked, my voice dripping with skepticism. Of course, this world kept getting more bizarre with each passing day. Stephanie scoffed at my disbelief. “Uh, yeah. Of course there’s an Alpha King. He’s basically the ruler of all the packs. He ensures the packs follow the laws and traditions, keeps everything running smoothly, and punishes anyone who steps out of line. They even call him ‘The Punisher,’ because his punishments are... well, let’s just say no one’s been brave enough to break any major l

He has been patient all these years to meet his mate and now the goddess has the guts to play this prank on him. "What a midday dry joke." He shifted her away from him. "After all these years of waiting, the goddess thinks I deserve a dumb, weak, and clumsy mate. And to further mock me, you are also a stripper, and a traitor’s spawn!" He smacked his lips jauntily with a devilish glint in his eyes as he added in a tiny sarcastic tone, "Ain't I indeed the most fortunate Alpha King?" Eleanor gasped in terror and jolted farther away from him. “So, you are him?” The ruthless Alpha King? ...

“They look good on you.” I gave a fake smile. “Thanks. I'll be on my way.” He just nodded. The moment I reached the door, there was a sudden knock causing me to jump. Someone was coming and I needed to hide. Before I could even react, the door had opened and an unfamiliar face walked in and I could instantly tell he was a Beta. “My King.” the beta bowed his head. “Alpha Reid has asked you out for breakfast.” King? Kiinng?! My eyes were popping out instantly as I stared at the stranger in utter shock and confusion . He... this man.. is the King?!!!

"Before we continue, however, our Alpha and Beta will be coming for the dismissal. There will be no tolerance for any disrespect to our Alpha – so behave." His last comment came out as a snarl, the threat clear in the air that our fates would be much worse if we reacted badly to their Alpha. At the mention of the Alpha arriving, the tension amongst the line increased. I clenched my fist tightly, keeping my eyes trained at the base of the forest floor. The Alpha of the Imperious pack for known and feared across all wolf lands. Alpha Benji – a ruthless, cold-hearted dictator. A man I thought I would only meet in my nightmares.
