As she lands on one knee, her hand comes out front to catch her. She immediately turns to Kendrick, who is getting bested by Fenrir. It is inevitable, that he is the son of a god, and we are just alpha wolves. I look back at Andricia and her back is completely demolished, no skin remains on it. How she is still standing I don’t know, but it fuels my anger and I immediately follow her and Fenrir who are now running out of the lockup. I'm still in my thoughts, finding it difficult to fall asleep when the wristwatch suddenly comes on and the light reflects in the room. Then the screen goes blank again and I'm left wondering how many more spies Alpha Luggard has fixed in this pack that the alpha doesn't know about. I guess I'm his closest shot to knowing everything about the alpha since I seem to be the only one that has gotten the closest to him.

She rips the heels off and growls under her breath. "Why does height have to be so painful?" I laugh and she sends me a death glare. "How are you still wearing yours?" She asks, exasperated. "Well, for one the pack is a few minutes away, and I have gotten used to them." That last one is a lie, but being the next Alpha, I have to keep up the allusion of nothing getting to me. And nothing includes a measly pair of heels. My ears perk toward the open front doors, my nose twitching as the scent of a large group of werewolves floods toward us. Rylan grumbles, but straps her feet back into the heels. I turn toward the door, and wait.

My father, the Alpha of the Talons, sat on his throne, saying nothing. He merely stared at me in anger, as did the other three members of his court.

Trudy's voice dripped with venom as she leaned over the wolf, her eyes blazing with fury. "I know who you are, Lisa. I know the pack you belonged to, and I know where your family resides," Trudy continued, the wolf’s eyes widening in shock. With a swift motion, she retrieved a phone from her pocket and activated the loudspeaker, dialing a number that would bring forth a voice from the other end. "Alpha," the voice on the line responded. "Do it," Trudy commanded, her voice cold and unwavering. The sound of pleading and screams filled the air, followed by a series of gunshots that silenced everything.
