I know many Alphas made their son reject their mates as soon as they found out their mates were human. I lay in my bed realizing that the things that once were important, is no longer important. I don't care about the Alpha title anymore. I just want my mate by my side for now and forever. Then it hit me. I will never reject her but what if she rejects me. What if she really loves this other human?

She was clearly sobbing her heart out. I nodded, “Yeah, just a bit nausea, thank you.” I half smiled, my heart sympathizing with her. I can’t imagine my life without my mate, I can’t even try to imagine what she was going through right now. I heard that once the mate dies, the bond is broken painfully and not even years may heal that loss and even more painful for the Alpha if he loves his mate greatly. A bad person or not. I just hope she’ll find happiness elsewhere.
