Serving the new Alpha: Mia: The packhouse was filled with people assembled in different corners conversing, with the majority of the females, both young and old, giggling. With the way the females were dressed, one would think they were gathered for a college frat party. But that wasn't the case. Luna Emilia's son, Giovanni was returning home from the US where he'd gone to study and he was next in line to become Alpha of the Blackwood pack after the death of his father. The entire pack members were gathered to welcome him.

Anna estimates that the man has a medium crew haircut after scrutinizing the overall structure of his body. "I'm sorry, I was late," the man apologized. “You wish. Here does not feel like Christmas, so let us go shop for Christmas trees, flowers, and lots of roses.” “Put those clothes down. Let us go.” I was about to drag her out, but she stopped me. “We do not celebrate Christmas around here, Lisa.” Huh? What was she saying? I noticed that she was twisting her fingers. She only does that when nervous. Are they pagan? That explains it. “Here is the Silvercrest Dominion pack, the strongest of all packs. My father is the Alpha… we are werewolves, Lisa. It is high time I come out of my closet.”

Nova’s POV I know it shouldn’t be my first question but it is “The South packs have a crime lord?” I ask. Angel was taking a sip of her wine at this point and almost spits it back out laughing. “There are crime lords and ladies all over the territories” Alex tells me. “We stamp them out where we can but it’s complicated and even though we now Rossi Stalow is a questionable man in some shady businesses we can’t stop him. So let’s utilise him instead. He has a strict policy against forcing women so I don’t think he would be too hard to convince to join us.”

Danny stood up, a disappointed look on her face,”you are no fun at all” she added and sulkily walked out while aurora gave out a loud chuckle as she watched her go out. “Silly” Aurora muttered to herself. On her table was a picture of Liam, smiling as she picked it up and hugged it. “I miss you champ” she said to the picture and closed her eyes. A black maybach was parked directly in front of the hospital and she could already guess who it was.

Oh shit Shanaya was his mate. He stands up and snarls at me. Dax stands in front of me to protect me from the rouge Alpha. "That bitch deserves everything she got and more." Dax says to him. "How dare you speak of my mate like that, I will make you feel the pain that I feel right now and take your precious Luna Aurora's life away from her and from you Alpha."

Carefully casual, but presentable. “Can I help you with anything, Alpha?” I ask softly. He whirls around from where he was unbuttoning the top of his shirt. Sun kissed skin upon his chest shows more and more before he pauses his movements. I know he’s from the Passion Pack, which lies right on the coast. I can imagine him lounging upon perfect golden beaches framing foaming aqua water. “Oh, you’re the girl who greeted us, right?” he questions, that quirk of a smile making me uneasy. “And the one who spilt Noah’s drink on his lap.”

Three days after the glittering Christmas ball, held on Christmas Eve, the air in the council chamber was heavy with anticipation. The heir to the Orange Moon Pack, Malcom Delgado, sat beside his father, Alpha Roberto Delgado, their presence commanding respect. Across from them, Alpha Palo Santiago and his father, the seasoned former Alpha Hector Santiago, exchanged wary glances. At the far end of the table, Alpha Julio Castello of the Sierra Mountain Pack leaned forward, his youthful face shadowed with concern. Beside him, Alpha Alonso Flores and his Beta, Ben Bonilla, represented the Purple Lake Pack with stoic calm.
