Unbeknownst to Kyle, it was just a temporary rule to seal his fate and someone else's. Drew Chen. The muscular, tall and handsome jet black haired and green eyed Werewolf and Witch. Drew smiled and walked towards his cousin Kyle. "It's been long since we saw each other. Why that look?" Drew said pouting his lips. "I know why you are here. What method do you guys want to use now to force me into getting married?" Kyle asked with a deadpan expression.

“Alpha.” “What is it?” I asked quietly. “Any reports yet?” I asked. Craig exhaled deeply before reaching into his coat. Without a word, he handed me a thick folder. I opened it, and the first photograph nearly made my blood boil. A werewolf’s body lay sprawled across blood-soaked ground, completely mutilated beyond recognition. His chest had been ripped open violently, ribs exposed like shattered branches. One arm had been torn entirely from its socket, discarded several feet away like worthless meat.

Waverly glared at his arm, which was covered in numerous tattoos, forming a sleeve, with the Crimson Shadow sigil placed in the centre. He pulled out a sketch pad and then a pack of pencils. "I heard you like drawing and since Sawyer's been so busy with the Lunar Eclipse coming up next month, I thought I'd bring you by some entertainment." He stretched out his hand, showing a tattoo of a wolf, with its tail wrapping around each of his fingers. Waverly slowly met him in the middle and took the book and pencils. "Thanks…" she said curiously. Even though she was weary of the man in front of her, it had felt like forever since she had scratched the surface of a new sheet of paper.

But I knew they would intervene in case something went wrong. Right then, the lights in the room dimmed and the huge screen on the wall came to life, dividing into three parts. The faces took some time to appear, but when they did…I gaped open mouthed at the image to the left…because in that corner of the screen was none other than Alpha Krimson…the werewolf represented. "Alpha Krimson." Alpha Charles too sounded surprised. "I wasn't aware that the wolf representative had changed."

People backed away either consciously or unconsciously to give him room to walk. I couldn't tell he was an Alpha wolf from looking at him alone, but I would have known he was something other than human from a first glance just based on his size. His good looks were a little too good as he ambled over to the car. I couldn't quite put my finger on what it was about Art which seemed 'off' to me. All I knew for certain was he didn't seem to have a single feature which was ordinary. "Keep in mind he has three baby mommas already."

The bait worked. I step in front of my fragile employer, ready for a bloodbath. But then I notice something strange. The Werewolf isn't looking at me. His chaotic, blood-red eyes are locked entirely on Arlo. Is he going for the weak link first? I wonder. A smart tactical move, but I won't let it happen. The Alpha is massive. A heavy, bloodstained metal collar bites deep into his neck. His clothes are nothing but shredded rags barely clinging to a perfectly sculpted chest, rugged abs, and a wicked V-line that disappears into the ruined fabric.

Now curious as to why he was looking at it, I slowly turned to the large frame handing on the wall by a suit of armour. Although partially obscured by the low light, I managed to see what was on the picture. It looked like a painting, depicting a scene of battle—a large werewolf in its true form running towards an army with other wolves following behind it. Somehow, the werewolf had a sort of striking resemblance with Alpha Alaric.

He gave his mouth a little swirl to the side, rubbed his stubbled chin, and came closer to me. I grinned, “Thank you.” I said as he approached the hypnotic painting. I stepped out of his way a bit, hands folded across my chest. I got a closer look at his hair and it had a mixture of gray in it. “This is the Alpha's favourite too,” he said with his back turned to me. “An enthralling piece—that I honestly didn't understand until now.” For a moment I thought he had something smart to say. But I guess he was one of the museophobic characters I had thought of earlier. “I mean—a werewolf’s heart couldn't possibly work in a human’s body.”

As I scanned the audience, my gaze locked onto Damien, igniting a surge of anger and irritation within me. Of course, the bastard chose the front seat. The meeting started. Then it was time to raise questions. A man who I acknowledged as the owner of an art collections platform raised his hands from the back seat. “You may speak,” I permitted him. “The Sacred Wolf is a symbol of peace for the werewolves. Why dispute over it when we have a greater evil ahead of us?” “She is valuable to any pack and can be used for the pack’s advantage. As long as she is rebirthed to their sanctuary, she will belong to that pack permanently,” I answered as I spoke into the microphone placed in front of me.

’ that was my thought in action as I stared vacantly at the beautiful woman before me. Despite being a very shameful thing among we shifters, I not only slept with Janet in secret, but I had also marked her inadvertently. During heat, it is usually established that the Alpha male and Luna belonged to each other. But I had no Luna. It wasn't a shameful thing that I mated the other she-wolves of the Pack, it was more shameful when it was an Omega. Janet was the most beautiful shifter in my Pack, the Crescent Pack. And that gave me a sense of pride. She was a trophy I owned, but it never lasted. It all ended the day she was killed.
