Amara calls out as she catches up to me. “What’s up?” I ask. She bites her lip hesitantly before she continues. “You said you were having headaches. Maybe…maybe you should see a doctor or something.” I shrug my shoulders. “Yeah, sure. Look, I gotta go. I’ll text you.” She gives me a sad smile. “Sure.” As I walk away, I can’t help but wonder about Amara’s behavior. However, I don’t dwell on it for too long. I have enough problems of my own.

That might be my way out, and it will have to be tonight. I gather my emotions and push off the wall. I need to get the last of my things together so I can go. I had planned to say goodbye to the Alpha, but that may be a bad idea now. I need to make sure everything is packed so I can leave from the workshop tonight. ~Kemarion~

She waved it off causally like it didn't matter. “Louis and I have a brunch date to catch today, by the way. I'll see you later" Sheb began to jog home, leaving me behind.

I shake my head and step out of the car. One day at a time.

Crimson looked at the both of us, worried. "Where's Maze?!" He asked. He's obviously worried about his friend. And I sighed. "H-he's outside." I don't know why but I'm slowly having breathing difficulties. "Fuck you, Mr. King." Crim said out of frustration and he ran outside the house and left me and my son as we both hugged each other. Maze's "Mr. Alba's subordinates would be here any minute." I told the three guys and they nodded before looking at the unconscious body on the pavement.

I was fully conscious, but totally drained. I knelt by my best friend. Blood pooled from an open cut on her forehead. “Get up, Emmie. I think we need to run.” “Ugh, my head.” “We need to go, Emmie. Gosh, I’m going to get expelled this time.”

Guess I’m heading right back in.

Then I released my hands and sit back. " Well, if there's nothing more to say, I guess this meeting is closed. I'll see you guys later." I say and stand up, walking out of the room. Lunch will soon be over, but I don't think I have any appetite for food. I've got to figure a way out of this mess... And I have to do it fast... . . . ( Closing time.) Darren's P. O. V
