Altar Blood Magic Novels & Stories

Alaron wondered if it was him or the spell that the Guardian distrusted. "Maybe they have tried, but when do you think the last time three of the chains were even together?" Alaron asked. "I know what I saw in my vision! It will work!" Incoming arrows glanced off the shield that Utku was maintaining, reminding them of the urgency. The enemy was getting closer. "We have to try," Aurora said. A servant brought her some paper, and Alaron began to scrawl out the words of the spell for Brinn to read. The elf's eyes grew wide. "This is light magic! Only the Fates have this magic innately. It will be very draining…but I think I can do it."

The other 2 spells I learned about were Blood Mana which takes the life from innocents and Vitality’s Puppet which makes a permanent slave out of someone, unlike the Light spell Charm where it only lasts for an hour. Alice was with Elder Haven and learned the single Spirit spell Weak Aura Lance. That spell is used to remove the resistances from the person or creature you are casting it on, and can either take a part of your soul, or it can be willingly given by the plants or creatures around you so you don’t have to use your own. Kim was with Elder Kristen this week, she picked up on the spells of Life magic easily. Matt was with Elder Ariel and Cam was with 2 of the Grand Masters learning d

"She was already gone inside. Just a shell keeping the baby alive. After the ritual, he imprisoned her. Then Hank brought us the grimoire, that black magic book. We cast a binding spell while Hunter was too arrogant to notice. "Magic’s never free, you know? It takes its toll. We tried using blood from the dead contestants, but that didn’t fly. There’s always a balance, some kind of price to pay eventually. I don’t even want to think about what that’ll be. Seriously, I hope he rots in that pit forever, alone." Now he's chained magically in an underground mausoleum with an enchanted blade through his heart." Aran's laugh was hollow. "He can still escape."

“So that when you stepped into Silver Claw territory, you forgot everything. Even your mate bond.” My pulse stumbled. That word again. Mate. But I forced myself not to react. “And you know this how?” That's why the call me the blood prophet alpha, I stand in the pinnacle of all races I was granted by the moon goddess with the ability to see and unsee thereby balancing the equation of life itself. He lifted a small glass vial from his sleeve. Inside was dark swirling smoke. “When you were found unconscious outside our borders, you carried traces of a spell. Blood magic mixed with moon power. Very rare. Very dangerous.”

Another warrior didn’t dodge and yelped when the spark burst near his hand. Kimberly crouched beside him. "Don’t be scared of the magic. Recognize its signature. Every witch’s energy feels different." She glanced at Delilah. "Show them." Delilah extended her palm. Blue runes shimmered. The air vibrated like humming ice. "This is Arctic magic," she said. "Hyna’s magic. Feel it. Remember it. If you sense this—run or shield immediately." A shiver went through the group as they felt the cold pulse of power.

"Your daughter will be safe. I am sorry it took me too long to do this. However, I will also be sending someone else for her. She must not be alone now that she conceives. Forgive me for my decision." Suddenly, the gust of wind within the chamber surged violently, whipping through the room like an unrelenting tempest. The vortex at the center of the magic circle swirled with ferocious intensity, its light pulsating brighter than ever. Alaric's body, suspended in the vortex, began to dissolve—fading piece by piece into shimmering fragments of light, each part of him drawn into the portal.

The air around her shimmered with raw energy, her green eyes glowing with an ethereal light as she whispered the ancient incantation that would seal Arthur's fate. "Vinculum cordis et animae, te libera a tenebris" – The bond of heart and soul, release you from darkness. As the final syllable left her lips, a surge of brilliant light erupted from her outstretched hand, arcing through the air like a bolt of lightning as it struck Arthur squarely in the chest. He let out a gut-wrenching scream, his body writhing in agony as the dark magic within him was ripped away, leaving only the man he had once been.

The two soldiers led the way, lanterns swinging in their fists, while Aaron kept a steady pace beside Alaric, his eyes darting to every shadow. The hut came into view, a crooked silhouette clinging to the cliffside. Around it shimmered a faint distortion — like heat haze, bending the air itself. The stench of iron and old blood rolled from within. The soldiers halted, lowering their lanterns. “Here, my lords.” Alaric stepped forward, hand brushing the distortion. A shiver ran up his arm, his wolf bristling beneath his skin. Veridian blood-magic. Old. Strong. Aaron frowned. “So it’s true.”

The demon just laughed at her and didn't bother himself to utter a word. “Celestial Blood Magic: Crimson Tornado,” Almirah firmly shouted then an immense and thick amount of blood gushed out from the jar and it moved rapidly in a circular motion, rushing towards Leviathan's direction. Almirah laughed devilishly. My heart throbbed as I saw fangs growing on her teeth. And as time passed by, she became aggressive as if she’s losing her sanity but her magic power gradually intensified. What was happening on her?

All magic had a signature, even dark magic. As I continued to scan the room, moving through it carefully, I found a single book resting upon an old stone pedestal. The leather was thicker than the others, held together with ebony stitching that looked as dark as the shadows slithering about. Scratched onto the front were the words, “Liber Sanguinis.” Book of Blood... My gut told me this was the book I was looking for. The one that held the spell Kimberly used to bind herself to Jude. It was coated in a thick layer of that tar-like substance.
