Devyn’s POV The meeting was scheduled to happen in a few minutes at the Auditorium, where Alphas, accompanied by their Betas, would come together to discuss the political issues related to the Sacred Wolf. As much as I didn't want to agree to it, Gina would have to attend the meeting and that meant exposing her to potential enemies. It would be the first time outsiders would see her and I wasn't stupid to not think chances will be made to snatch her away, so I was fully prepared.

We are now three against Alpha Theo’s evil army. “Omario? Are you fucken’ kidding me!” Alpha Theo roars when he realises what just happened and picks up his step towards us. “Theo, please let…” Luna Nala tries to speak but Alpha Theo almost bites her head off. “Shut the fuck up, Nala!” That’s when everything becomes surreal.

ALICIA'S P.O.V She led us to a discrete room and there we found a staircase leading down into a basement. I followed her curiously to know who this individual is and why they had to keep him in a place like that. We arrived before an iron door as she opened a little spot for us to have a look. Through the rectangle hole I saw a man seated down on an iron bench with his face on the floor. “His name is Alaric and he also has a rare condition. The previous person with a similar condition like his didn’t survive,” Helen said as I could tell from her tone how sorry she was.

And yet, part of me wondered if Hazel’s shadows could have reached me anywhere else. The hall buzzed with whispers of the feast, of omens and curses. But louder still was Kayla’s voice. She swept into the chamber without waiting to be summoned, Hazel a shadow at her side. Kayla bowed low to Danearo, her hand pressed against her stomach like a trophy. “Alpha,” she said brightly, “the healers insist my condition is stable. Your heir is safe.” I stiffened where I sat, clutching the edge of the furs.

He pushed Alucard out of the room and spank the doe in the alpha’s face; Jaden listened to Alucard and took a bath with hot water to remove the cold from his body, when he finished he dressed with the clothes that had been brought to him. Jaden got surprised to see that the clothes were slightly bigger than his body and it was supposed to be the clothes of a teenager... ... After about 30 minutes Jaden left the room to went for some warm tea, but the moment he open the door he scream surprised because Alucard was still there. "Why are you still here, your Excellency?" "Let's go to the city" Alucard demand again "We? That sounds like a crowd to me." Jaden smiled but he was clearly pissed off

Alder comments with a sardonic smile, completely unfazed by the whole situation “I won't repeat myself Kingsley,you better comply or I would blow your fucking brains out and fed your remains to vultures”my father responses, his face could compete with a statue—cold and unmoving. This is the type of person he turns into when he feels any of us is in danger Not only is Alder not panicked, but he also apparently has a death wish. Because he says “Go ahead do it, that's the only way you'll get me to stay away from your daughter”

Alex growled, his eyes glowing gold. The other alpha's eyes grew wide, and he immediately got up and off the bar stool and backed away. "I'm sorry, Alpha." "What's your name?" Alex growled. "It's Earth alpha." "Well, Earth, I don't ever want to see you at my club again. Now get out of my sight." Earth nodded and ran out to the club. Alex turned his attention to Ash and could see how tense he was. Alex closed his eyes and then opened them as he wrapped his arms around Ash once more.

We have more important people to pay attention to,” King Elysar said, then looked at me. “Beta Carys, do you accept the accusations?”

He snapped, smiling. “I am Jordan. Jordan Hennessey.” He added. “Audrey. Audrey Bolduc.” I replied, following his pattern of introduction. “Well, I will let you girls be. Nice to meet you, Audrey. Come by later. I know you are the Lucia of the season but we would like to have you around some more when you are not upstate.” He smirked at me and walked away. “Was he flirting?” “I am supposed to kill the alpha.” She muttered, reminding me exactly why I had felt so heavy earlier.
