Alpha Knight appeared from the door of my office. “Apologies, Knight.” We entered my office. Zarah, Knight, Califf, Shadow, and Nirvana were already there, drinking wine and whisky. I locked the door once we were all gathered. I gestured at Amelia who just rolled her eyes at me. “Guys, tell me what do you see.” “A beautiful flawless sexy back?” Nirvana smiled, giggling with Shadow. “Why didn’t you tell us she’s your mate?” “We’re not,” Amelia said, resisting the truth.

Jake asked, obviously annoyed by my sudden change of mood. "Hello dear," Pollen smiled at me. She pushed her phone into her handbag before turning to Jake. He was oblivious of the entire situation happening before him. As she scanned him up and down, I was plotting ways to choke her in the bathroom without anyone knowing. Kaiser's uncle, that is Sharon's husband is swirling the wine in his flute while examining the guests. Sharon is Kaiser's paternal aunt, his father's sister. These are the half blooded lycan's. "I am sure Kyra can handle them just fine" Kaiser replied confidently. He still couldn't forget how she taunted Sharon and Amara with out uttering a sin

She said and Caden shook his head and kissed her forehead. "It's okay, I'll just talk to him. Just stay with Nana and I'll hurry back to you later." Amanda nodded and looked at me, I just nodded at her. We looked at Amanda walking away, when she disappeared from our sight then we faced each other. I glared at Shaw . He didn't have any emotion, unlike earlier when he had a very bossy face while talking to Amanda. “Spill it!” I broke our silence. He just looked at me before shaking his head.

Shaw shifted from one foot to the other, clearly not too good at being put on the spot, but at least not ratting me out. Ezra narrowed his eyes accusingly. “Kaitlynn was here. When was Kaitlynn here? Wait, you actually know Kaitlynn? How do you know Kaitlynn?” When Shaw didn’t have a ready answer, his eyes too big with the inability to tell a lie, Camille cleared her throat. “Did you say Kaitlynn? You mean that pretty blonde, long hair, with the perfect amount of wave in it? About my height? Blue eyes. Awesome shoes.”

“Amanda is meant to shift tomorrow. Can you please destroy all the wolf’s bane in the surrounding?” Ron gave a confused look. “Shift?” he asked. “But she is just six.” Tory swallowed. She doesn’t want to tell Ron who Amanda is but he would need explanation before he can destroy the wolf’s bane. “It’s because she is a royal”, she said. “Royals have their wolves when they are six.” He chuckled. “That’s not true”, he said. “I know all about werewolves and I’ve never heard of a wolf that shifts at the age of six. Now tell me. What are you trying to do?” he said and moved closer to her.

Without his mom and dad, Amanda was the only family he had left, or so Damon had told her on the way to the funeral. She reached over and took Matt's hand into hers. She still had her family with her, but how quickly it had started to dwindle before her eyes over something stupid and trivial. She'd have to be on guard with her wayward feelings and Damon's quirks. There was no way in hell she was going to let them get back to where they were before last night. The preacher had spoken for a few more minutes before he called Kendal up.
