All was not lost. Abertha stopped trying to teach me prognostication and spellcraft, and we focused on growing shit and foraging for the big three. Basically, there are tons of useful plants, but there are three that are worth their weight in gold—dragon tongue, wolf’s bane, and ashbalm. Dragon tongue is like a drug, similar to steroids, and it grows under very specific conditions—like when the moon is in the seventh house and there’s a red sky in morning. It’s a hassle to harvest, but it funds Abertha’s extravagant and mysterious lifestyle.

Ayame came over and began to sprinkle things into the bath one by one while explaining. "Embervine leaves, Dawn blossoms, Sylvan Crest moss, Amberroot chips and sunspire petals. These are the herbs that will be in your morning baths from today onwards. Moonshimmer lillies, Shadowfern fronds, Nightfall petals, Starleaf vein and Ghostcap spores will be the herbs in your nighttime baths" She dusted the amberroot chips from her hands and leaned back, watching as they all slowly melted into the water, which obviously wasn't just water, given that they were melting.

Rosalind exclaimed, her voice trembling with excitement. Athena smiled, her eyes shining with warmth. "The gods' gift returns to you," Athena said, her voice filled with reverence. Rosalind recited the recipe, Athena listening intently, her hands cupped around her ears as if to catch every whispered word. Silver fern roots Starflower petals Crystal clear stream essence Pine tree resin "Gather the roots of the silver fern, its delicate fronds swaying in the moon's gentle light. Combine it with the petals of the starflower, their softness like the gentle touch of a summer breeze."

“Constantine, if we’re going to stand any chance against Agnes and her dark magic, we need an edge. Something the elders won’t see coming.” Constantine, her face etched with determination, nodded. “I know, Isolde. We can’t let Agnes’s underhanded tactics win this contest. But what can we do?” Isolde’s eyes gleamed with a hint of mischief as she whispered, “Mountain ash.” Constantine frowned, puzzled. “Mountain ash? How can that help us?” Isolde explained, “Mountain ash is a powerful elemental substance. If we incorporate it into our spells during the ritual, it could give us an advantage. Agnes won’t see it coming, and it might disrupt her dark magic.”

He needed something to paralyze Kristen’s witch side and he needed it now. “Rosemary, Lavender, and white Sage.” Bo spit back as if he knew exactly what Arkyn was asking. “I have rosemary and lavender. I am searching for sage. I can't find any. I have men going out into the woods, it sometimes grows wild.” Bo said frantically, Arkyn could tell Bo was probably out himself looking for it. “What’s it look like?” Arkyn sent back.

They almost match the green of the plants around her. “Well, we actually have a question,” I say, to which the woman smiles brightly and nods. “It’s about a plant.” “Oh! Well, you’ve come to the right place,” she says. “Is it Ocimum basilicum? Or how about Borago officinalis?” Nancy and I look at each other again, then shake our heads. “No,” I reply. “It’s… toxic ashroot.” The woman’s smile suddenly fades and she narrows her eyes at both of us.

Maria said waving at Valeria in a queen-like manner. "Que tenga un buen día señora. Goodbye." Valeria said and left the room. Meanwhile, Maria sighed and sipped a little bit of wine from her tumbler. Whenever she got depressed or angry, red wine was her drug to overcome those emotions. She hoped that Philip would not get in her way. He had the special ability to destroy her plans at the most unexpected time.

Dainiel could only see the build of this person, but based on the strange height and shape, this person must be a woman. “Finally, the time has come. We will begin our game Ameira, it is called; 'The Game of Death'. Either you die for them or they die for you. Try to catch me, if you can," she evilly whispered as she glanced at the young woman sitting on the ground.

That faithful moment that changed her and her sister’s life forever. Rie dried her face using the towel hanging on her shoulder and then walked out of the bathroom. She weakly sat down on the bed. She no longer knew what was happening. Rie was still drinking tea made of flax seeds every night. Flax seed was one of the major ingredients for a sleeping potion.

"This is—wow." Zac chuckled softly. "My grandfather was a big reader. He quoted literature as if he were a human book himself." I turned to look at Zac, my eyes lit up. "Zac, this is amazing." Zac shrugged nonchalantly, smiling. "I thought you'd like it." He walked over to one wall, skimming the shelves until he pulled out a book. "I wanted you to have this." I looked at the book he held out for me to take. It was called "Bloom" by Kelle Hampton. I smiled at the title, meeting his eyes. "Wha—but why?"
