American Assassin Novels & Stories

Deadly. “Who sent you?” The man gritted his teeth, pain flashing across his face. He didn’t answer. Ryan sighed, then pressed the barrel of the gun against his other leg. “I won’t ask twice.” The assassin swallowed hard, his body trembling. Ryan just watched him. Silent. Waiting. The silence stretched. Then, finally, the man’s lips parted. “...No sé… Solo un nombre… Carter.” (I don’t know… Just a name… Carter.) My stomach dropped.

I would kill this man, whoever he was. "Let's pretend I don't. Humor me, then. I must admit, the actress you hired had me convinced the assassin was a woman. Impressive work." "Yes, well, regrettably, she has outlived her usefulness." With a flick of his wrist, he fired a shot directly into the girl's temple. She crumpled in my arms, life extinguished instantly. The brute laughed. "It's so hard to find good help in the States." Madeline groaned, struggling against the man's grip.

I retort with conviction. I watch as Alfonso reaches for the gun at his waist. The church instantly descends into chaos as four of Mario’s men join him, guns drawn. Adalina rushes towards me, and I swiftly grab her arm, pulling her behind me while retrieving my own gun from my shoulder holster. Mario points his gun at me, but before he can shoot, I take down Alfonso with a single shot to the head. Brains and blood splatter everywhere. The fool forgot that I am an assassin.

Chase smiled sardonically at this. He did kill three men, and one of them belonged to the Iron Hammer Assassins Order. The other two were from the Dark Blood Assassins Order. "You aren't from an assassin order too, are you?" Chase sneered. His words enraged Man in Black, who looked even more intent to kill Chase. "I'm glad you know that. Surrender yourself and come with me to admit your guilt at the Law Enforcement Hall!" Man in Black roared. Black mist slowly rolled out from around him.

“Thank you, Mr. Ettinger.” With his eyes sparkling, the Ryokan assassin groveled at Brad and bent over to pick up the money. Brad flicked his sleeve, and a gun slipped into his palm. Before the assassin knew it, the gun was pressed onto his forehead. “Mr. Ettinger, you—” The assassin grimaced in confusion, but Brad opened fire. “Bang!” The bullet tore through the assassin’s brain with a splatter of blood. He went limp to the ground, his face bearing lingering anger and bitterness.

The grand windows that usually framed endless ocean views were shattered, and the peaceful quiet had been replaced with the sound of gunfire and chaos. AS03, the head of the assassin team, stood amidst the carnage. His expression was impassive as his men executed the remaining guards, their bodies slumped across the marble floors, crimson staining the pristine white tiles. The plan had been simple, get in, take her, and leave no witnesses. But Hazel wasn’t here, and neither was Harden.

The rifle was already raised. The assassin hadn’t even noticed him. “Patience is impressive,” Dmitri said lightly. “But you chose the wrong playground.” Dmitri saluted at the camera, teasing Alessio with a smirk. Then pulled the trigger. The gunshot exploded through the hallway. The assassin collapsed. For a moment… silence returned. I exhaled slowly. “Guess that’s over.” Alessio didn’t move. His eyes were still on the screen. Cold and focused. Then the body on the floor moved.

The fact that she was still physically weak from labor. He didn’t ask me why. I didn’t offer a reason. “Kill her,” I said. Then I paused. My jaw tightened. “Not the baby. Just the mother.” There was a long silence. Then the assassin responded coolly. “Understood, it’ll cost $20 million.” I wired $20 million to a secure offshore account. A few hours later, the burner phone rang once. “It’s done.” His voice was flat. And then he hung up. I dialed Vin next.

Mayzie called. “Lock yourself,” Sandro said as Mayzie quickly rushed to the phone and dialed. While Sandro was fighting the man who swung the knife at him, he shot him again but no bleeding. The bastard was very much armored. He threw the vase at him. He grabbed the laundry pole swinging it and twirling it, thrusting the point forward. The assassin was very much staring at the door to his mate. “Don’t come out!” He shouted at Mayzie. But then, his mate opened the door and shot the assassin right in the head with the shotgun. Sandro coughed upon smelling the powder. He froze seeing the head shattered on their unit.

She called, coming out of her room to the sitting room to see him on the floor but with a bullet in-between his eyes. She was about to scream before the intruder came into view, shushing her before she does anything silly. “Please, don’t kill me,” Yasmina begged. “My father would give you any amount you want.” But she wasn’t spared, hence the assassin pulled the trigger and stood in front of her to make sure that she was truly dead. After the deed was done, he simply avoided the camera by using the secret door that he came in to meet his boss. A sleek black Audi was parked right outside the hotel and he entered inside to meet him.
