back to them, her body trembling as she fought to contain the beast within. Her long hair whipped around her face, and her eyes, once a soft hazel, now glowed with an unnatural, amber light. The transformation was already beginning, and Fabian and Xavier knew they had only moments to intervene.“Alison!” Fabian called out, his voice cutting through the night like a knife. “You have to fight it! Don’t let it take over!”Alison turned to face them, her expression one of sheer agony. “I… I can’t…” she gasped, her voice barely more than a whisper. “It’s too strong… I can’t hold it back…”Xavier stepped forward, his tone firm but gentle. “Yes, you can. We’re here with you. You’re not alone in this.

Unconscious, she began to cook as her dress caught fire. “Momma!” Clarissa yelled. Bohdan put his hand over the girl’s mouth and pulled her in close. He looked her in the eye and said, “She’s dead, shut the fuck up and do as I say.” Ashley looked into the cabin window and watched as Bohdan raped the girl. She was powerless to do anything and decided it was best to stay out of the vampire’s way. She needed her strength to fight the battles that would save her life later on, so she put what she saw out of her mind and pretend it wasn’t happening. She saw Anne run out of the cabin and into a wooded area where she disappeared into the darkness. Rancid and Isaac were both tending to their wounds

It wasn’t anywhere she knew. The others appeared behind her, one by one, their outlines rippling like reflections on water. The sky above them was a black dome streaked with red veins of light. Trees twisted in impossible shapes. The ground was soft, like ash and heartbeat at once. Caleb looked around, his face pale. “We’re inside,” he said. “This is Black Hollow.” Silas’s eyes glowed brighter than she’d ever seen. “Welcome to his world,” he murmured. Somewhere in the distance a bell began to toll, deep and slow, as if marking the time they had left. Ava tightened her grip on the dagger. Her father’s voice echoed faintly in her memory: Under the Blood Moon, choose. She straightened her shoul

I hurried over and tapped the man. "Hey, are you okay?" My hand touched his back, and I froze. A chill ran through me. I turned him over. Every muscle in me locked up. It was the guy from 603. He had multiple stab wounds to the chest, blood soaking his clothes and the mattress beneath him. I nearly collapsed to the floor. What the hell was going on? "Are you out of your fucking mind?" A furious shout rang out from downstairs. It was Jacob. Worried he might run into the killer somewhere in the building, I pushed open the stairwell door and hurried downstairs. In the darkness, my foot struck something, and I nearly tumbled down the stairs.

Ember leaned against Kael’s shoulder from the back seat, her eyes half-closed and heavy, her body humming with a warmth that seemed to radiate from him, mingling with her own. Kael drove with a focused intensity, his knuckles white as he gripped the steering wheel. His sharp gaze scanned the serpentine road ahead, ever vigilant for any signs of danger. Beside Ember sat Ronan—Kael’s beta—a figure of strength with broad shoulders and an unyielding demeanour. His intense gaze was fixed on the treeline, alert for any movement. Though he remained silent, his presence was a steady anchor in the encroaching gloom. Once Ember settled into a more peaceful slumber, he gently pulled her closer, offerin

Someone about his posture made her stomach tighten. “John,” she pressed, her voice now edged with suspicion. He only sighed, running a hand through his hair. And that was when her phone buzzed sharply on the nightstand. She glanced at the screen—unknown number. Her gut twisted. She hesitated before answering, something deep warning her that whatever she was about to hear would change everything. “Detective Evelyn speaking.” A ragged breath on the other end. Then— “The asylum…….. it's gone. Burnt to the ground.”

Eventually all the recounting rendered Miranda's brain fatigued, and while lying on her back, with soft sleepy blinks, Miranda fell asleep. While the clueless yet special girl dozed off to sleep in her small shed, deep in the woods her agitated yet mourning Alpha mate had his mind set on finding the late Luna's killer. Alpha Asher sat behind his desk and faced Bennett, while recounting all the details he could remember from the night of the attack, including his chasing of the vampire in the woods. Meanwhile, Ben sat and listened carefully. He made no comment, and only spoke up once he was sure that the Alpha had completed his report.

Suddenly, an explosion vibrated the ground and when I looked up, a black smoke emitted in the air toward the hamlet. “Randolph!” A gasp escaped my lips. Grabbing my dress, I darted back to the forest and ran. My feet flew over dead leaves and stones as I scouted for the hamlet, the branches of the trees whipped my face and tugged at my dress. My heart thumped behind my chest as I zigzagged through the sparsely darkened forest. Suddenly, I arrived at the hamlet and the scene before me almost crippled me. Before me were terrifying monsters from my nightmares; lycans; as my father would call them; they pounced and ripped apart the bodies of my father’s men who have also shifted into their wolve

He hadn't expected to hear her call for him and definitely not this soon. Without hesitation, Dante stepped away from the mountain's edge. The air around him shimmered with heat as his form dissolved into embers, vanishing completely. The alleyway in Valoria materialized around him in an instant. His eyes took in the whole scene at once; Madeleine, Lucas, and Sera backed against a brick wall, trapped in the narrow passage. Two werewolves blocked their escape to the street. The scarred werewolf was already mid-air, his claws extended toward Madeleine's throat.

Understandable, given Ashwyck’s hazing included illusion torture, bloodline duels, and an ‘accidental’ summoning that nearly turned the south wing into a demon’s chew toy. But she looked like she was waiting for something. No. Not waiting. Inviting. “She’s not here by chance,” I said. Lucien rolled his eyes. “You’re being dramatic.” “Pot, meet kettle.” “She’s just another mystery,” Silas said, finally picking up his glass. “Ashwyck devours mysteries. She’ll be gone by winter solstice.” But he didn’t believe it. I could see it in the tension behind his eyes. She wasn’t leaving.
