Stories at the Crossroad. (completed)

Finally, the advice to the kids were, run straight home when you see a stranger, instead of the usual don’t talk to strangers. Anderson turned to the stairs, intending on disappearing quickly. “Anderson, wait a moment.” Anderson let out an inaudible sigh. What he was dreading had come to pass. Anderson was hoping he could slip away and not have to deal with having to explain what happened. It was more like he had no idea how to explain it. Adding to his exaggerated reactions when he saw Mary earlier, the situation felt awkward to explain. There was no way he could say that’s my wife in her younger body. He had no doubt he would be sent to this world’s crazy doctor Xavier for that.

An Untold Fairytale

An Untold Fairytale

She took the fallen paper plane from the table and all the students were staring at her, anticipating how she'll react. "Good morning class, I am Mrs McElwain's substitute until she comes back from her maternal leave," She calmly said. The students quietly came back to their seats and stared at the auburn-haired woman in front. "I am Miranda Thorne. You may call me Ms Thorne. Now, can someone tell me what your last lesson was about?" One student raised her hand, Miranda nodded, giving the student permission to stand. “We always have Mondays as storytelling, Ms Thorne," Another student raised a hand.

We'll be together again someday

We'll be together again someday

For now, all I can do is say that "I love you more than anything" The best love stories are those that happen unexpectedly, with people we never imagined and in unusual places. These love stories are the ones that had everything to go wrong, but they did. They happen on that day when we weren't even going to leave the house, but by chance we decided to change our plans.

A Bear's Mirrored Romance

A Bear's Mirrored Romance

Frustrated at the insane stories the townspeople clearly told anyone who would listen. “Okay, enough, you go track down a librarian and get the microfiche. Here’s the information you need to look at. If you can get copies even better.” “I’m on it. After that run in I want to prove this town wrong. That woman spoke some crazy things without giving any facts.” “We’ll see what we can find. Small towns like this have their legends that usually have little to no facts to verify the story from. But you’re right often the facts aren’t as fun as the lies.”

Three Months With My Cute Boss.

Three Months With My Cute Boss.

This journey of writing has been a voyage of self-discovery, where I have learned as much about myself as I have about the craft of storytelling. I believe that stories are the threads that weave our shared human experience. They have the power to transcend cultural, geographical, and temporal boundaries, reminding us of our common humanity. Whether through the written word, oral tradition, or digital mediums, stories connect us, inspire us, and challenge us to grow. It is my hope that my words will find a resonance with readers, that they will evoke emotions, provoke thoughts, and spark conversations.

Her Story

Her Story

“I told you, I won’t force you.” “But we must, I mean we can’t fake the-” “We’ll mark each other. It'll be enough to sustain our story. I know how you feel about it, but the mark will fade away eventually. We'll renew it once in a while.” By the end of this talk, he was only in his underwear. A small whimper escaped my mouth causing me to slap a hand over it. His laugh filled the room. Despite the turmoil of emotions that were ravaging my mind, I couldn’t deny the fact that his body was nothing less than perfect.

He Came Back Running

He Came Back Running

Even Catherine, who I did not think was performing anything, laughed with the specific warmth of someone who had genuinely missed this. I watched. Said nothing. Filed The stories started with the soup... Catherine was the kind of person who narrated the world as it happened, not compulsively, but with the specific warmth of someone who understood that shared experience required shared language, and that language required telling. She began with something small.. a reference to a holiday several years ago, and then expanded, naturally, the way stories expanded when they found their audience. The stories included Zara Not pointedly. Not as a decision. Simply because Zara had been there, and th
