THE PROXY BRIDE: His bride. Her Secret.

THE PROXY BRIDE: His bride. Her Secret.

“That’s nothing! Did you see the politician who wore mismatched shoes to the press conference? Black left, brown right. And he stood there confidently for an hour. I was embarrassed for his ancestors.” Jane pushed up her glasses, giggling. “It was trending number one for a whole day. People were making memes faster than I could keep up.” Amara found herself smiling, the heaviness of her morning already dissolving. These women were a storm—loud, witty, endlessly amused by the absurdities of the world. Their words tumbled out like waterfalls, bouncing from one scandal to another, from celebrity breakups to viral dances, always in that infectious rhythm of hot gist.

The Crescent Heir

The Crescent Heir

Between all of it, they had talked and laughed — about everything and nothing at the same time. That was the thing about Jebediah that Anna had not expected. She had assumed, early on, that a man of his standing would be all sharp edges and serious conversation, the kind of person who made you feel slightly underdressed for the discussion. But he was the opposite. His knowledge was genuinely staggering — philosophy, history, politics, religion, the arts — he moved through all of it with the ease of someone who had read every book in every room and retained all of it. A walking encyclopedia with impeccable taste. And yet, he could not finish a single serious point without smuggling in a joke

TAKEN BY THE MAFIA

TAKEN BY THE MAFIA

Puns, witty one-liners, and humorous anecdotes filled the air, each punchline punctuated by Selena's laughter. In those moments, the power of humor became a beacon, guiding us through the emotional labyrinth. Selena's laughter, once mingled with tears, now became a melody of resilience—a testament to our ability to find joy even in the face of heartache. As the evening unfolded, I realized that sometimes, the best way to heal is not only through comforting meals but also through the shared magic of laughter and companionship. The Canadian adventure, marked by twists and turns, continued to unveil the strength of our connection—one meal, one joke, and one shared moment at a time.

Beloved Of The Lycan King

Beloved Of The Lycan King

Not rejecting the truth. Understanding it Theodore suddenly kneels beside me too “Also humans cope with trauma using humor.” Everyone looks at him. Theodore shrugs awkwardly “What? It’s medically relevant.” Shockingly The Unmade pauses “Humor…” The word sounds foreign in its voice. Theodore nods seriously “Yeah. Sometimes existence is so horrifying you either laugh or emotionally combust.” Eryndor pinches the bridge of his nose “That is the worst explanation of humor I have ever heard.” Theodore points immediately

REJECTED BILLIONAIRE'S HEIRESS

REJECTED BILLIONAIRE'S HEIRESS

Joe started recounting his day, and I listened intently, imagining him gesturing animatedly with every sentence. "So, you wouldn't believe what happened at work today," he began, drawing me in as he recounted the mishap with the office printer that had everyone in stitches. I laughed, shaking my head. "You always manage to find the humor in the most mundane things," I said. "That's because life is too short to be serious all the time," Joe replied. "So, I had this meeting today," he continue, a hint of exasperation in his tone. I leaned against my chair, resting my elbow, and propped my chin in my hand. "Tell me everything," I urged, my curiosity piqued.

THE ALPHA’S PUBLIC REJECTION

THE ALPHA’S PUBLIC REJECTION

“I remember! He made you all clean the stables for a month!” The door opened, and Ansre walked in. He stopped as he entered inside and raised his eyebrows in surprise. He was staring at me, at my laughing face. I wiped a tear from my eye and noded at him. “Andre. Come in. We are just remembering the Great Mud Ditch disaster of our youth.” Andre walked over, with a small hesitant smile on his face. “Let me in on the joke. I need a good story.” I recounted it again, and Andre laughed too, it sounded genuine. Good. Normal.

STEP ASIDE EX-HUSBAND: THE RISE OF LIANA

STEP ASIDE EX-HUSBAND: THE RISE OF LIANA

Human. “So,” he said after a moment, “the assumptions you made on page twelve… explain them again.” I launched into it, gesturing as I spoke, more animated now that I was fed and focused. Halfway through, I made an offhand joke about the market behaving like a stubborn child refusing to cooperate. To my surprise, Adrian laughed. Not a sharp, humorless sound. A real laugh. It caught me so off guard that I stopped talking mid-sentence. “What?” he asked, still smiling faintly.

Erased Vows

Erased Vows

"That's some serious dedication right there. Me? I once took a dare from my college roommates and ate a pizza topped with anchovies, pineapple, and hot sauce. The combination was... unforgettable, and not in a good way. Our laughter mingled, filling the space with ease and creating a bubble of comfort amidst the day's tasks. It was these lighthearted exchanges, sharing silly stories over a simple lunch, that made the days feel vibrant and connected, like we were building a collection of shared memories one meal at a time.

What else a person can crave for. As soon as I took my medicines, I visited them. They are as funny as tom and Jerry. Uncle was searching for some sweets, without being caught from aunty , I was trying hard to control my laughter. They are the most hilarious couple of the world, no one can be more hilarious then them. I was observing all this when uncle found a sweet on the lower shelf and as soon as aunty saw this, she immediately grabbed uncle's ears. " ahhh, mah lady it hurts".

CLOWNY MISFORTUNES

CLOWNY MISFORTUNES

And so, on and on ,like the osscilation of a pendulum, the disheartening piece of my bio churned while the sands of time dripped slowly and slowly as it watched my narration irks the soul of the spectators. That I thought, but it appeared to be nothing but a blunt lie. It was a revolving piece of gags and laughs. A piece of funny cake, a chunk of interesting cheese, a loaf of an adventurous bread and a real ginger to the spirits of the audience. They applauded.

Ryoshi
This is an interesting book with intriguing characters and premise. The author does well to draw the audience in and make them part of the story. The narrator feels very genuine, and I began to feel for him. Very well done.
Nightingale ✍️
Mhenn this story is Lit?. It keeps the reader drawn to the main character. At the first chapter I was already glued to how chuka's mistakes caused misfortunes to others. This is definitely a story y'all should read.
