I could see the large man talking but couldn't hear what he was saying. Angel started hitting some buttons on the console in front of us until there was sound and we could hear the man's booming voice. "Bring her out to me, and I may spare you all." Blake moved down the front steps with Landon and Dominic flanking him. "You know I won't do that Cain." The big guy growled, "it's Alpha Cain to you, pup, and if you wish to stand in my way, I will kill you all. Or maybe I may spare you all long enough to watch as my men and I have our fill of your mates."

I shift into my massive auburn wolf and grab the rogue by the throat ripping his vocals cords from him while he falls the ground bleeding out. "Get her out of here I yell through the mindlink" when I turn and see Orlando pick her up and bolt out the door. "Get downstairs" I hear Angelino yell and before he could say anything else I hurled myself out the window that the rogue came through. By the time I landed I see Angelino's massive silver wolf already down there in the middle of the fight with all our fathers the battle went on for hours and by the time it was down nobody said anything we quickly shifted and grab a pair of shorts and rushed into the house.

I said, “I will help the woman with the newborn.” Lucas nodded as we all move as fast and as silent as we could near to where they were. I watched as Angeline starts to fight against the newborn in front of her striking it through his chest. A signature move that I thought her. I can’t help but be proud of the person she had become. No let me correct that, the warrior she had wished she could become. I hear the arrival of Merick along with five of Stefan’s warriors. They began to kill all those newborns that stood their way as I continue to run towards the woman of my dreams.

Samantha asked angrily but Laura ignored her and tried to walk past her but Samantha grabbed her arm and gave her a resounding slap on her cheek. "You don't walk away when I'm talking to you, bitch." Not thinking twice and out of anger over what Samantha and her mother had done to her, she retaliated by landing a harder slap on Samantha's cheek, one which she was sure would leave finger prints on her face and Samantha cried out in both shock and pain.

I knew it wasn't too late to turn around, but turning back wasn't an option right now. 'A hundred percent' I replied with a brilliant smile. We were in the woods and it would be dark soon. I was an angel after all. I hadn't even been walking for long when I heard a twig snapped from somewhere behind me. My wolf became alert after hearing the noise and immediately jumped into defense mode.

Stay away! I started taking little zigzag turns to try and stay calm, but why would I bother? — What are you talking about, Backer?— I stared at him. — You know what? You're more than a jerk!
