Her little arms wrapped around me and she held me tightly. “It’s okay, Angel. Jul told me you had to go, even though you didn’t want to, and you loved me a lot. I knew you would come back; the woman from the moon told me that in my dreams.”
“The woman from the moon?” I echoed. Startled, I parted the hug to search Stella’s green-blue eyes.
“Yes, the Goddess, silly. She visited me in my dreams when I was sad and told me you weren’t gone forever like mum and dad. Don’t cry, Angel, we are together now,” she said softly, wiping my tears.
