His eyes widened and he gulped visibly, looking up and past my shoulder like he’d seen a ghost. I turned around to see what had scared him. Eros was standing right behind me, tall and imposing, arms crossed over his broad chest. His tattoos peeked out from under his sleeves, and his expression was dark and pissed. He didn’t say a word. He just stared at Reese with a very intimidating look.

My eyes never left her as she got into stance. Reese was an extremely skilled fighter, probably the best in all Dark Moon’s ranks. I couldn’t afford to let my guard down for even a second.

Angel "You have a problem, asshole?" Angel demanded, his face inches from Jesse's, his forearm at Jesse's neck. Jesse's face reddened as he struggled to get the words out. "I-I'm was jus' messin' with her." Angel turned to face Sarah, without loosening his grip on Jesse. She stood there wide-eyed, a hand over her chest. "Are you okay?" Sarah nodded. "Yeah." Angel turned back to Jesse's face which by now was a nice shade of deep crimson. He pushed him one more time against the bleachers, slamming his head against the wood siding.

So she has to be ok, right? “Ryder.” I turn and look at Antonio. He looks grim. This can’t be good. I walk to him as my mom and dad leave, no doubt to go and see Rebel. “What’s happening? Teagan told me Angel is in recovery.” Antonio looks at me and shakes his head slightly.

I lied, well it's technically the truth. "Ain't you gonna get your lunch?" Angel asked. "I'll get it for her since she seems tired. What do you want?" Hottie asked and I told him. He got up and left to get our meals. Looking at them, I could see the slight resemblance. They both had jet black hair and adorable dimples but while Hottie had hazel eyes, Angel had silver eyes and a lip ring. "I'm sure you're now convinced I'm not an Angel?" He smirked.

When she mentioned her name to the receptionist, they instructed Mariko to go directly to his office. As Mariko knocked on the door first before he went inside the CEO's room, she noticed the man standing on the floor-to-ceiling window, facing the view of a skyscraper. He has this salt and pepper-colored hair. His hands were inside his pockets. Ethan notices her presence and turned around to face her. He frowned upon seeing a woman standing at the front door, wearing a black shirt and army pants, with her hair tied in a loose braid. "Mr. Reed, I am agent Angel, from the Moon Castle Agency. I am the person in-charge to protect your son, Marcus Reed." Ethan smiled. He walked toward his swivel

“I will, I promise.” “Good. It’ll only be for a few days. Drake will be acting Alpha and he has orders to lock you in our suite if you don’t do this for me, okay?” Reese nodded her head, knowing full well he couldn’t see her and she clenched her eyes tight. “Okay,” she finally whispered. “I have to go now,” Troy said with a sigh and the call ended. Reese sank down against the wall and lowered her head to her knees and cried. In that moment, she hated Amber with everything in her. It was her fault that Troy was sick, her fault that all those warriors had died.

She reached over, gently grasping Chelsea's hand. “Are you feeling any better?” Reese asked, her voice soft but steady. Chelsea gave a small, tired smile, her eyes barely open. “I’m okay. Just… a little dizzy still.” Reese nodded, brushing a strand of hair from Chelsea's face. “You gave us all quite a scare.” Her tone was serious, but her expression remained calm. “I still don’t understand why Aria would do something like that. She’s always been… unpredictable, but this is just too far.”
