His cheeks were pale white, like he never had that rosy dust. Lucas could see the arms bandaged, his feet were covered in white too. He dragged his chair near the bed and put his face on the bed near Liam's hand, hooking their pinky fingers; he kept starring at the angelic face until he fell asleep. Liam opened his eyes to a white ceiling. He looked around, it wasn’t their home. Where was he? He could hear faint beep but at the moment his brain was overwhelmed. He took the fork and knife. He held the full chicken on one of the trays with the fork and cut it with the knife. He picked it with the knife into his mouth savoring every taste. She was breathing heavily as she said the prayers.

I looked down at my feet and I nodded at Maria to leave to her room within the chamber. “Papa!” Daniel cried out. He smiled and lifted our son in his arms, kissing him. “Hello, Aguilar. We have missed you deeply.” I said, watching as he extended his hand to me. I kissed his knuckle, and he smiled before putting a hand on my cheek. I leaned in toward his touch, giving in to it. “You seem to have been tiring your mother,” Aguilar said, turning his attention to Daniel. “Not at all, Alpha.” I said, not wanting Daniel to be the one to respond. “You know that his playing and his attitude is one that I love. The angel took his glasses off, revealing light-colored eyes. My mouth fell open, “I am the Arch Angel Raphael, but in my human form, you can call me Azarias, Az for short.”

Silver yelled inside me, but I stood rooted to my spot. “Mate.” “Mate.” We both uttered at the exact same time when Beta Rodriguez immediately looked away. It was like I had fallen from cloud nine. “Mate! You found your second chance mate, Andres.” I heard Alpha Sanders exclaim when my eyes widened in shock.
