The room was a sea of people, men in suits and women in very little, pressed together on a crowded dance floor. And in the very center of it all, on a circular stage, was Angel. This Angel was nothing like the girl in the room. Her performance was a complete transformation. She wore a costume of gold and white, with huge, feathered wings strapped to her back that seemed to stretch and breathe with her. She moved with a power and grace that was hypnotic. Her body twisted and arched, every movement precise and fluid, as if she were made of liquid fire. She was not dancing for them; she was commanding them.

Chapter: 23 ****** In the realm of ethereal beauty and boundless wonder, cerulean unfolds before the restless angel's eyes. As he walked down the long, winding path, a symphony of colors danced in the air, painting the sky with hues that defied earthly imagination. Wisps of iridescent clouds drifted lazily, casting shimmering reflections upon the glistening surfaces of crystalline structures that rose majestically from the cerulean ground. I forced my eyes opened, as it's four feathered wings flapped lazily, the thing so big, I was probably staring at only twenty-five percent of its body. It had a row of eight eyes, the center being the biggest one, and it was the only one that was opened, the other seven closed. "Be afraid, for I have orders to neutralize the beings that threaten Paradise." it said, no mouth moving. At this point, I had fallen on my back, staring up at this thing with wide eyes. I'd known of these angels existence, but they were only sent out when things were dire, or they felt like an enemy was too strong to be existing.

Again, she skimmed the bottom, flicking her tail to head topside again. This time, she arched backward and greeted the horizon upside-down, a perfect moonlit rain-bow of color in her tail. Again and again, Angel danced among the waves, wanting to sing her happiness, but that’d only invite trouble. Besides, the moon’s trail had lengthened, and it was time to head back. She flicked her tail and dove toward Logan’s home, ready for the sea—and air—to be cleared between them. Ready to begin her life with him.
