The dense forests, the calm waters, and the quaint little cottage, a haven she was determined to make her hideout. Inhaling deeply, thoughts in disarray, she tried to calm her jumbled nerves. Did she always have a thing for insanely handsome brooding men? She doubted she had truly grasped how deeply she was affected by him. A challenge. -Is that how she sees him?- Her mind refused to formulate a response. If she did, it will only confirm how she felt and she wasn't sure she was ready to risk it.
