Angels Cried Novels & Stories

Some say that Angels mourn for us when we are unable to weep our own tears. When the pain becomes so overwhelming that we are afraid that if we let the tears fall, they will drown us in our aura of misery. The air is thick with melancholy as if a heavy cloud of grief continuously hangs over the entire cemetery. Death lingers in the air accompanied by the faint smell of rain, cheap perfume, and fresh roses. I shut my black umbrella, letting it slip between my fingers, and I gaze up at the ominous sky as the tears of the Angels cascade down upon us.

ANGEL I felt like my blood freezing and my bones breaking into million pieces while my heart stopped beating seeing the guy who I have never seen crying over any pain crying in front of us, in front of all of us, his parent, brothers, my parents and all those fucking wizards who are just standing and watching the guy they have seen grew up in front of their eyes for years dying in pain.

His wings were like billion of stars when it shines, too stunning that you couldn’t turn your eyes away, it was heavenliness that could warm one’s heart in just one glance. Kram came near them with frowning eyes and lips, all the angels immediately stood up for they knew that there was something bad that happened the moment they looked at the Archangel’s expression. They slowly formed a line before him and bowed down their heads as they knelt one knee above the ground, as a respect for their superior. “What’s the matter, Kram?” Xhagreb asked, one of the male angels, an old man around 2000 years old, who was guiding the little angels, his face was wrinkled but it was smooth and white as snow.

The hefty dudes known as James and John stared at each other and then at Rebecca. “But we saw him trying to grab you,” John voiced, fuming angrily. “He wasn’t. He was trying to help me. Please let him go, I just want to see my siblings. I’m tired, hungry and in lots of pain guys, I don’t want to have to deal with you too.” She said weakly. James and John looked at themselves again, before leaving Jacob, who forcefully dragged his arms away. Jacob turned and stared daringly at both men who on realizing his dare stance advanced to continue what they’d begun.

Those lonely eyes of him, now she remembers. "But why would you leave me in the lost boy's care? Why show up now?" Why now when she had grown closer to the Lost boy? Why now when she wants to go home and grow up? Why now when there are some people like her who wants to go home too? "Why now?!" She cries, darting her eyes full of tears at him. When she thought The Angel would sympathize with her, only the cruel laughter she heard. The Angel's eyes were not seen no more, only his evil smirk for he covered it with his hood again.

Angel cried triumphantly as she brandished a scrap of paper. “Damn it Knight!” ..............................

The second angel’s name was Michael, who was the middle brother that wanted peace among good and evil but lost his fight to balance the two brothers out. The third angel’s name was no other than Gabriel, who had wings as dark as night, with

"We're in this now. All of us. For Gabriel. For the boy." She closed her eyes. A shudder ran through her whole frame. And then, for the first time since I'd met her in that glittering hell, Angel cried. Not the frantic, terrified tears of before, but deep, silent, soul-wracking sobs that shook her slender body. She didn't make a sound, but the tears streamed down her face, cutting through the grime and the bruises, a flood of pain held back for far too long.
