Hoping nobody notices. The cold was strong enough to dry up my fears, but not the sorrow in my heart. Shrubs were swept away by the breeze, then I sighted a bench. It had no companion, just like me. I gently walked to it and sat. My heart grew heavier. It was as if my heart was being beaten with a whip that had blades at its corners. Then a thick flawless voice spoke. Perhaps it wasn't to me. “ How saddening it is to know angels cry” he said. I looked around and realized I was the only one,so he was referring to me.

Then, I stumbled toward the band, raised my fist, and knocked the pianist to the ground. “Are you deaf? I said stop!” I shouted. The music cut off instantly, and all the guests in the hall froze, staring at each other, stunned. I wiped the sweat from my face, gasping for air. A deathly silence fell over the room until finally, I spoke. “Leonardo,” I said hoarsely, “call Vincenzo. Now.” The call connected. “Vincenzo!” I roared furiously. “Where is Rachel? Where is she?”

The carriage was a box of nightmares. Angel couldn't breathe. Every time she closed her eyes, she saw Luciano’s face, then blood, then Elijah’s cold smile. Her hands flew to her head, fingers digging into her scalp. "No, no, no," she whispered, rocking back and forth. The words were stuck in her head, a broken record: *I ordered my men to kill Luciano.* A sob ripped out of her, so hard it hurt. Then another. She was gasping for air, her whole body shaking. This couldn't be real. It was a bad dream. A horrible, terrible dream. She had to wake up. "Luciano," she choked out, his name a prayer on her lips. "Please, please, please."

BAM! Feral slammed the temple doors closed as he crawled into the rivers. They could hear the angry banging of the door by the multitude of angels as they tediously crawled through the waters. Feral almost couldn’t stop shivering, all mortals knew how cruel the angels were. When it came to judgment, their so-called purity became a vicious sword that diced all sinners without mercy.

Slumping down on the ground, I try to rise, but chunks flow out of my lips, and my body quivers painfully. Just then, a whooshing sound resounds around me. Looking up, I find myself surrounded by two angels and several hellhounds. One of the angels steps forward, his face set in a sneer as he uses his boot to roughly push me onto my back. Crying out in pain, I tighten my lips and fully face the angels. Both angels have golden hair and eyes, as well as large feathered wings. Based on the color of their feathers, I can see that they’re seraphim. “Where’s Galena?” The seraphim scream out, enraged.

he cried. I froze and stared at his tear-stained eyes. No, no, no! This couldn't be happening. My Angelina couldn't leave me. She couldn't go, leaving me all alone. I collapsed to the ground and gripped my hair in sheer misery. My body shook as tears fell from my eyes for the first time. "No!" I cried out loudly at the burning house. Angelina is gone... My Angelina is gone... My love is dead...

IRIS I stood stunned as my father died before my eyes. I think I was crying because Angelina was doing the same beside me. All the daemons looked very confused since their leader was now dead. Angelica looked furious, but when her eyes landed on us, she broke down and started crying. At the sight of her tears, Krallion went crazy. “How dare you hurt my mate!” Krallion roared. Everyone else’s eyes bulged at that statement. “I thought Krallion was a legend,” I heard someone whisper.

At least, not as often as humans did. They were born to fight. War was their way of life. So Minho couldn't imagine what would drive Amara to tears, stubborn as she was. "What? I know you, more than you think and I love you so much. Chiara could tell by her looks that Elvera was on the edge of tears. She had no idea about how to deal with her mum crying and she wanted to escape. "This is tiring, I have to go." Chiara said and headed for the door. "Arrivederci, Mama." (Goodbye, Mum.)
